I am using this opportunity to tell you muslims, that not all danes agree with the printing of these drawings, and that many danes, like myself, also find it to be VERY disrespectful of your religion! On behalf of these danes, I immensely appologize for the printing, and ask of you, to remember that not all danes are racists and that many of us respect any religion!
Please, let us work to put all this behind us, and coopperate to make the world a better place.

I support this petition.Hope this letter finds you in the best of your health. The reason which prompted me to write a letter to you is a recent cartoon of our Holy Prophet MUHAMMAD (peace be upon him). As you know that Islam is a revealed religion as Christianity and Judaism are.
We Muslims not only believe in all the Prophets of Christianity and Judaism but respect them all from the core of are hearts as this is engraved in our belief as described by Holy QURAN. Nobody can be a Muslim if he doesn’t believe in and respect any of the Prophets in which Christians and Jews believe. What to speak of making cartoons are ridiculing any of the Prophets we don’t even dare to make their pictures because according to our faith this amounts to blasphemy.
The recent cartoons which are ridiculing in nature published first by a Danish paper and then repeated by many other European papers have deeply tortured the minds n souls of all the Muslims in the world
. Mr. Ambassador. Islam is a religion of peace and respects all other religions, particularly the revealed religions. A common Muslim has no enmity with Christianity, Judaism or for that matter the peoples of Europe. Freedom of expression and civil liberties doesn’t mean that one has a license to ridicule others and hurt religious feelings of others. The adamant behavior of Danish press n government as well as other European press has caused extreme sense of disappointment and torture in the minds of 1250 million Muslims of the world who hold all Prophets of Christianity and Judaism in high esteem and can not even think of disrespecting them even in their imagination. We therefore STRONGLY PROTEST against this yellow journalism and condemn all those who are responsible for this adamant behaviour.
In the name of justice and fair play I request you and your government to advise your press that freedom of expression and civil liberties doesn’t mean that they are entitled to ridicule the sensitive religious
