I'm a Muslim but I wasn't hurt by the shameful act of Denmark. I strongly believe in Islam, and non-Muslim brothers aren't really aware of what they're doing. They’re just too lost in this world, they think its real, as well as some of our Muslim brothers believes that too and are stepping away from reality even though they know that this world will end one day. That there is Heaven and Hell, but they just don’t want to believe it. I don’t blame anyone; this world just looks and feels so real. I think every Muslim and a non-Muslim is a better person than I am. What if someday at a very early age some non-Muslim converts towards Islam and dies the second day? He will directly go to heaven because he was forgiven for all his sins and disobedience since he brought his faith on Allah and his commands. So therefore, start taking every Muslim and a non-Muslim as a better person than yourself. This message was for Muslims. And so for our fellow non-Muslim brothers, May Allah gives them a chance to bring their faith on Allah and obey Allah’s commands.
But still since our non-Muslim brothers aren’t realizing their mistake and kept on supporting the freedom of speech, I support this petition. Freedom of Speech doesn’t mean insulting others religions. This includes every community whether a Muslim community, a Christian community or a Jewish community. Freedom of speech means to express your thoughts, views, feelings in a decent, civilized manner. Why is a Muslim labelled an "Extremist" if he speaks his mind out? How come a Muslim becomes a "Fundamentalist" when he expresses his views? How come, for Pete's sake, a Non-Muslim can get away with insulting, swearing at, abusing Islam and still have right to "Freedom of Speech"? Freedom of Speech is not insulting someone's religious or ethical point of view.Protests will continue for they represent pain in the hearts of billions of Muslims. I am very glad at the way the people in Beirut set the Danish Embassy ablaze.This isnt violence, lets say this is FREEDOM OF ACTION.It is a pity to see the Danish newspaper reflect their racism. These cartoons are not only offending, but also are expressing ignorance of the Occident, since it seems like two world wars were not enough to realise that respect and tolerance are important. The Occident is putting its view as the only one possible. To have stereotypes of both Occident and Orient is just awful, i have no other word for that. Let us all open our eyes. Those who made the cartoons and those who published them should be put on trial in a Muslim country and they should be given a punishment that no one has gotten so far so that it can be an eye opener for the whole world. We love our Prophet (PBUH) and no one in this world can disrespect our Prophet.
However, I also strongly condem the violence that people are causing. They should not burn the embassies. Muslims should show that they are from a peaceful religion rather than acting like one of those.
