I think she should win an award because she's performed every year and each year's performance has brought more publicity to the VMA's. For example: The kiss, the barely wearing anything Satisfaction, the snake slave 4 u, nsync medley.

ok just because britney cause alot of "scandal" 2 years ago doesn't mean that you keep her out of your award shows anymore. seriously if it wasn't for her and madonna's performance that year.. the VMA's would have been NOTHING. and that is why the show last year was HORRIBLE and boring because there was nothing exciting and interesting. britney draws a crowd, and excitement.. and good ratings. she's had two good songs this year and i don't see why she isn't being recognized for them... but whatever. yeah nominate green day for most of the awards.. considering they didnt draw any media attention all year. and some of the other nominees i have never even heard of.
