It names me sick that you say you are not willing to play the Backstreet Boys JUST BECAUSE you don't want POP music to MAKE A COMEBACK! that is the biggest load of crap I have heard in a LONG time. POP is only an acronym for POPULAR music which is SUPPOSEDLY what you play now. Well, let me just say that, contrary to what your OTHER viewers say, the Backstreet Boys ARE popular and the ONLY reason you don't hear from many Backstreet Boys fans is because we KNOW you wouldn't play them in the past even when there WERE a lot of us still watching. You would get a LOT more viewers to your station if you played the music that EVERYBODY wanted, not just the select few that you think are COOL enough to be played! It's not for MTV to decide who gets played. BSB fans are voting, so obviously BSB fans want to see BSB on MTV. And to say they don't want to play BSB because they don't want to revive pop is ridiculous especially since pop never really died. And shows like American Idol prove that pop is still around. MTV should play what is asked of them and not whatever type of music they want to push on society.

The Backstreet Boys are a talented and sucessful group. MTV, you should support all artists. Picking and choosing which videos the fans have voted for is unfair and poor business. Pop is a popular area of music, and you are using it as a reason for betraying fans all over the world. Without fans of music, there would be no MTV. Listen to your views and don't ignore them.
