Ok i agree with all of ya'll about MTV. The fact that MTV doesn't count their votes piss me off. Johnny Wright (BSB's manager) came out during the Chicago concert (Aug 19) and asked us fans if we were requesting the BSB songs. I know for a FACT that i have. I have been to MTV and i sent in my votes for "INCOMPLETE" and "JUST WANT YOU TO KNOW". I am getting fed up with this crap MTV is pulling. I like the old MTV better! Videos 24/7 and it was the full video... Not this 5 second clip. WHERE'S CARSON DAILY? HE KNEW HOW TO DO HIS JOB FOR MTV. Note the name: MTV, MUSIC TELEVISION... i don't see any music anymore.. and if there is music, it's always rap and the wanna be pop music. MTV says they don't play pop... but hello?!?! what the hell do you think hilary Duff is? what the hell do you think Lindsay Lohan is? What the hell do you think Lipsyncer Ashlee Simpson is? Jesse McCartney? hello... they play pop and they say that POP will ruin them... lol... NOT PLAYING POP (Backstreet Boys) and a bigger range of music is going to ruin them... and as every other fan is saying, "BSB IS WHAT MADE MTV!"
I think this is bullshit as seeing how MTV had bsb on TRL not even a month before hand promoting thier tour and single "incomplete" at the time. Now you turn around saying you refuse to play bsb or any other pop? the funny thing is you still play joj, hillary duff, destiny's child, and justin timberlake. I cant believe that MTV would actually claim that they "dont want pop music to make a comeback" if thats so..then they cant play hilary duff, ashlee simpson, briteny spears (the PRINCESS of POP) PLAY BACKSTREET BOYS otherwise you'll have MORE than just a few disgruntled viewers..you'll have an all out WAR!!!
MTV can go to hell they have never liked BsB and music videos are free speech just as much as the music. BsB has never done anything except produce good clean fun music.
Since MTV refuses to play BSB, I refuse to watch MTV! It's not right that one station can say what WE can and can not watch. This goes against freedom of speech. They are just jealous that our boys can take a break and work hard to get back on top. No matter, they just lost over 20 viewers because of my word of mouth. When I met them at Darien Lake, they were very excited about their new single and urging everyone to request it. Tonight, I'm watching VH1!!

All bands/groups/singers should be treated with the same respect and it's dispictable that a TV station of your kind decides to descriminate. Backstreet Boys are extremelly successful and just because the people behind the scenes at MTV don't appreciate all genres of music doesn't mean that the fans who do support the groups/bands/singers should suffer because of it. Backstreet Boys should be on MTV, it's their equal right. Thank you!
This is really unfair for Backstreet Boys fan. You can't just decide what you want to play. They are a very popular music group and are very succesful. If it wasn't for them, your little telvision show may not have even exsisted!

Who do you think you are? Whether or not you play their video, the fans will always love and support them. You've just lost thousands of viewers support all because of your lack of respect for one of the best bands ever to grace their presence on your disgrace of a TV program.
It's a shame that MTV didn't continue to carry the video. The guys were really excited about the video when they passed by the studio last week. Nick and AJ, in particular, told me that they had a fun time making the video and spoofing the 80's glam metal bands. Oh well...I'm going to call my friends who run MTV and let them know they are doing BSB an injustice and the world is "Incomplete" without their new song on their playlist.

"Viewers Choice"??, what a load of crap! TRL would not have become the success that it has if not for BSB and honestly, MTV and TRL has blown since they left back in the day anyway. You are losing many viewers by thinking you can tell people what music they can and cannot like. The "music" you play now is ultimate crap and I can't stand it. The Backstreet Boys are coming back without your help, I'm sure once you realize how big they still are you will come crawling back and I hope they laugh in your face.
TRL is TOTAL REQUEST LIVE. Nowhere in the name does it state "Only bands and music that we approve of, live." MTV had The Click Five on the show, who are touring with the boys, why not let BSB on? I'm sure if NSYNC wanted to return MTV would be playing their music, no? I've got news for you MTV, you guys no longer rule the music world. There are greater things like I don't know, maybe the RADIO?! If the Backstreet Boys are requested enough then that should be enough to let them be on TRL or any other MTV show. If MTV has the final say in what is being aired and what they do and do not like, then why bother voting or watching? We want BSB!!!!!
What's the point in having people vote for what's played on TRL if MTV just choses what's played anyway? A lot of people are voting for bsb and it's not right for MTV to chose not to play them!
What your doing is unfair and it breaks my hearts. You can't control what I or anyone else listens to more than you can control the weather. How dare you try it in the first place. We want to see our boys on the countdown so just accept that and play the video.
