These boys deserve to be back at number one where they belong. its not fair. everyone knows that these artists are real and better than a lot of whats out there. MTV, if you would look back at every single show taping and records of anything that had to do with the backstreet boys you would see how well your ratings were that day. do you really think you can stop the boys from dominating again? would you play the video if NSYNC came back ? I think MTV is rediculous and stupid for not playing th Backstreet Boys music. I knew something was shady when today on TRL they were number 17. They have never ever once been that low on the countdown before. NOw that I know there is a conspiracy I understand now. HOwever,it is unexceptable and I will not stand for it. The Backstreet Boys are what made MTV and TRL what it is today! If the people who are staff cannot see that, then I have been watching a channel made by idiots. The Backstreet Boys have worked their asses off for what they have in life and I don't think it's fair or neccessary that they get shoved out of the way, becuase y'all are afraid it's going to "hurt your ratings" or people are going to think MTV is going all goody goody. I can't even believe that MTV would stoop so low as to not play BSB. It may seem stupid and unneccesary, but I am going to stick to what I believe is right... and MTV is not right.

I bet another reason why you dont want to play them is because you liked N'Sync better and hoped that they would come back before BSB. It makes me sleep better at night knowing that the wonderful people at mtv are telling me what I can and cannot listen to. I didn't know that the media turned itself into a dictatorship, but now that I do I think it would be a good idea to move to Canada since that's wherethe boys started and Canada gave them a better welcoming that the US did.
All I have to say is that not only do I agree but I feel that MTV is censorizing our music and that is unfair. I have watched MTV grow and they have grown into something that i am unproud to say grew with me yet away from me. It wasn't just the young that created MTV, I am almost 30 and my generation developed MTV and now not only do they tell me I no longer matter but that my music, our music doesn't matter either!
