bsb is my life. i listen to them for hours and i wuld love to actually be able to watch them on tv for a change. i have voted every week and its sad to no that my votes did nothing as long with the other fans.

I do not understand why you will not play BSB. Personally, I don't like you guys (MTV) anymore because you never play music videos anymore anyway. If you are going to be called "Music Television" then PLAY MUSIC and not REALITY TV! But that is not the point. My vaild reson for you to play BSB is: if music was not played on MTV based on somebody's opinion on what is good music, there would be nothing on MTV because everybody's opinion is different. I don't like Black Eye Peas, but you all play it. I don't like Brittney Spears but you show her a** in her videos. MTV should be what the FANS want, and not what the PRODUCERS want. If you have no plans of showing BSB, then please change the mame of the VCMA to P(roducer's)CMA. It makes no sense, do you fear that BSB is so good that if they are played on MTV they will make a comeback? Or do you fear that if BSB is played that your ratings will go down? Well believe me, in my book your ratings couldn't be any lower, and if they were, they would be in the triple digit negatives.

all i have to say is if MTV is stupid enough to ignore fans' requests then they are obviously not worth viewing.. i thought TRL was about the fans? music is people's choice remember? well little old mtv aka music television is busy showing everything OTHER than music. Im able to see people date moms, search rooms, and follow around highschoolers filming the drama in their life.. but i cant see a backstreet boys video. that's crazy. This petition is written by Backstreet Boys' fans all around the world ..It was a huge shock for us to find out that MTV refuses to play Backstreet Boy's videos and particulary the new single Just Want You To Know..First of all,It's totally undeniable that the Backstreet Boy's are one of the most successful bands all over the world and that they have millions of fans that love them and will always do..and that they are still successful and still loved!and it IS also undeniable that the Backstreet Boys is one of the main reasons for making TRL what it is now..and TRL owes the Backstreet Boys a lot..Is that how you thank them???by not counting the votes to their video..Second,,since when it's MTV's decision to view or ignore videos..I mean there is a phone line for voting and also an internet voting then it's the VIEWER's choice that counts ..otherwise why wasting our times voting when you won t count our votes..and if the show about what do people want..people want BSB we want BSB!!and ignoring the people's votes won't change this facts and won't stop the so called 'Pop explosion'..third,Mtv is supposed to be a music channel!!It should be a reflexion of what music is about ..and music is about love and justice..and I don t think that preventing loyal BSB fans and good music listeners from seeing such a wonderful video just like Just Want You To Know has anything to do with jusictice..also I don t think that standing in some real ,wonderful and talented entertainer's road and keeping their voices and their music from reaching the world has anything to do with justice..So MTV and it is one of the biggest music channels doesn t follow the concept of music which is really a SHAME!

I remember 'the old days' when MTV would play Backstreet Boys' music videos frequently and I think they should continue doing so, because there are obviously people out there who like their music and the videos. I myself like their music and have been since summer of '97 or so.It'd be great if their videos and other special shows and whatnot can be shown on MTV again.
