Us BSB fans are completely fed up of how discriminating and un-fair MTV/TRL is to the Backstreet Boys. Stop discriminating against us and start taking into consideration our votes and petitions to play BSB videos on your channel. KTBSPA!
I have officially boycotted MTV. I used to like it back in the days of Carson. But now, just because MTV is afraid of the "pop explosion" it would cause is just ludacris, not to mention stupid. BSB was basically the one to bring TRL to life. Who else did the mayor of NY declare a state of emergency when they were in town? MTV is trying to force us to watch what they think is good music, and MTV is just not Music Televsion anymore.

I think that it is absolutely absurd that you will not play the Backstreet Boys music videos on your station. I thought it was up to the people to make the decision of who and what they want to listen to and see...evidently not though. I will remember that the next time I view TRL.
I USED to be a faithful MTV viewer (emphasis is on "used to be"). It is an atrocity that you are banning certain videos (namely the Backstreet Boys) from being played on MTV not because it is inappropriate to show but because you don't want to play "pop"...give me a break. You are making a BIG mistake. Big. Huge. Excuse me while I turn the channel to another music video channel FOR GOOD!!!
dear mtv..everybody knows that BSB are the most impostant group...and we kows too..that they have a lot of fans around the world..for example that Im from Brazil.

OK - So what the hell is the big deal anyway??? You honestly think that just because YOU all at MTV don't want to play it and open "pandora's box" as you like to call it, that we are just going to be okay with that??? OMG seriously you're losing ALOT of viewers because you all choose to do this. BSB are 5 of the most talented men I've ever known and they deserve to have their videos played. As you can see from this petition there are a TON of people that want to see BSB's music played on MTV, but regardless of whether or not you decide to play it, they're still going to have us as LOYAL FANS! You know that if this were NSync everyone was talking about it would be a completely different story...You all have always liked to play favorites between the two groups, and honestly BSB are SO much better!! You have no right to decide whether or not pop music should make a comeback or not. you play everyone else's music. both britney and christina are pop, and not only that, but they are also label mates of bsb and you play them, so why the hell not play bsb?! If it werent for BSB, TRL would not be what it is today. BSB loves their fans more than any other band, and have done plenty to help them, and even those who arent bsb fans, they have helped. Even if the video isnt on TRL (because we are the ones voting for it, hello ppl!! its not MTV's choice!! They are doing nothing illegal here) I think MTV should at least show the video once in a while, when they actually have videos on...
