All Pitbulls are not dangerous. My parents owned a pitbull that was loving and caring. The danger comes when people raise the dogs to be mean and aggressive. Any dog can be aggressive and kill kids or attack human. It is all on how they are raised.
Vicious Dogs should be dealt with but not Breed Specific. Any breed can be vicious, the same breeds can be very loving dogs raised by the right owners.

As the owner of five dogs (an Akita, an American Staffordshire Terrier/Rottweiler mix, a Miniature Pinscher, a Kelpie/Chow mix, and an American Pit Bull Terrier) all of which have their Canine Good Citizen Award and are certified therapy dogs; I do not believe that there is a bad breed. There are bad dogs and there are bad owners. Instead of stereotyping the breed as aggressive, lets stereotype the owners as unfit.
My son owns three dogs all considered bully breeds,his dogs get along great with our two dogs. They are great with other people and young children. They are a part of our family.
Once you start banning certain breeds of dogs you are violating all that America stands for. And where will it stop? All dogs are capable of biting ,Will we be a dogless nation soon?
I am the owner of 4 American Pitbull Terriers and for someone to tell me that I can't own the breed because of someone elses stupidy is rediculous. My dogs have NEVER bitten, acted aggressive towards anyone or animal. So why do I have to suffer for how someone else treats their animals. I believe that the owners should be held accountable not the breed. Im not giving up my dogs for anyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i own 2 absolutly friendly and adorable pitbull terriers, that never did anything wrong and should not be punished for their past time or because a few people dont like them.
