I am ashamed that my President and my government have been and continue to be incompetent and uncaring--except when PR opportunities present themselves.
I am devastated of how pour family had to live and endure the abuse that awas displayed after the hurrucane. The president has hsown when other countries have tragedies the US runs to there aid immediately. Unfortunately, tax paying citizens where not aided in that manner. There is n o reason why any of the people from the Gulf Coast should not have waited one day. It is evident that there is a race issue. I am sure that there were some whites looting and dying and all there was shown was the African Americans looting to survive and dying in the streets like animals. RACISM IS ALIVE AND WELL!!!
It's a shame that we don't have resources to take care of our own people in a moment of extreme need, while we are spending billions and billions of dollars on an unnecessary, obscene and stupid war.
I am appalled! Focus on the needs of our country... you are the president at the beginning of the decline of our civilization...you will be remembered as such.
If you really were responsible to the people like your job entails, you would have accepted outside help from the Many countries that have offered, instead you isolate us again to cover up the botched job you have done(to help New O). Bush seems to have a penchant for choosing people wo give him bad advise and inaccurate information. This lack of ability in choosing trustworthy people is the presedents fault and therefore he is responsible.

Your failure to censor Pat Robertson for his insane remarks against the president of Venzuela is a failure of giantic porportions and no less a crime than that of the muslim leaders who failed to condemn those responsible for 9/11. I pray that our recent national disaster will alert even those who have supported you in the past and make it possible for us to reclaim our country from you and your radical fanatics. those people had it bad enough for the government to turn their backs on them in their hour of need. this is the result of overrotating our troops for a war that shouldn't have been our main priority and minding everyone's business but our own. our own people should come first in dire circumstances before anyone else. 9/11 and now this stand as examples where we've been let down by an administration that just pretends to care, and that will leave (or send) many of our citizens to our deaths to protect their special interests.
For every minute that you and your inept and corrupt administration delayed in bringing relief, you are responsible for the unecessary deaths of those yet uncounted victims.
First, you have caused the death of thousands of our military men and women and then the death of who knows how many innocent Iraqi's and now cilvilians in your own country. If you don't resign we the people will impeach you! If you were the CEO of a country you would of been fired or forced to resign days ago. Mr. Bush your days are number in days now not years!

While you were on another vacation - while you were on the golf course - people were already dying in Louisianna.
While you - your family - and your friends are laughing all the way to the bank and stuffing your pockets with the hard earned money of the American people by cashing in on inflated oil revenues - people are dying in Iraq. Thousands of OUR people and TENS OF THOUSANDS of innocent Iraquis.
While you are building school and road in Iraq, New Orleans has NO infrastructure and the National Guard is all oversea in a war that was started and perpetuated by lies and greed and a futile effort to avenge past wrongs on your father.
You have made us an EMBARRASSMENT to the world and to OURSELVES.
For once take the RIGHT path - resign - and let us attempt to regain our lost dignity.

Nothing can be more indicative to what levels we have stooped than the fact your government has appealed for food aid from the European Union and Nato...the fact that as of tonight, Sept. 4.2005 this fact has not been reported on then news is hightly troubling.
You and your cabinet should resign-over the failures regarding rescue operations in the affected Gulf area of the south of the United States. Shame on you, Mr. Chertoff and Mr. Brown.
Regardless of the ticket on which you ran, the means by which attained the Presidency, or your political ideology, you have failed in your duty to serve and protect the people of this country. You have committed gross dereliction of duty resulting in the unnecessary deaths and suffering of thousands of Americans. Your resignation is essential to the welfare and security of this country and its citizens.
Mr. President: For years you have told us that the greatest threat to our country was posed by terrorists who sought to do us harm, and that to remain safe we had to rain death and destruction on a Middle Eastern country that had nothing to do with those who attacked us. The terrorist attacks on 9/11 were predicted well in advance, and our borders are still not safe because of the incompetence of your administration and the global terror that has been wreaked by your violent agression in the Middle East. You have driven the government to financial ruin, stripped it of its moral authority, and shamelessly forced it to lie to promote your personal interests. Now it is even clearer than it was before that the nation's greatest threat is not from imagined enemies abroad but the failure of our government to do its job protecting its citizens. Resign before millions more die because of your irresponsibility and incompetence.
