It's an insult to animation. There is no humor. I can atleast find humor in Bugs Bunny when he does impressions of Groucho Marx, but never in TGTTM. The mayor dosen't do anything anyway.
To all of those who think the animation is too obtrusive to actually hear a joke, even if you ignore the images, there are no jokes. The humor is not subtle - It's NOT FRIGGIN' THERE! Dispose of this piece of trash properly.
Tom Goes to the Mayor is not animation really, but it really is crap. I don't know what crawled up the butt of some idiot in charge of programming over there, or more importantly, what crawled up the butt of their boss that let them and their bad taste put this peice of crap on the air. The supporters say that people who hate it are to stupid to get the humor...well if the animation wasn't so obtrusive as to overpower what was being said I might give it a chance. I'm just so over distracted by the black & white changing still frames that I want to claw my eyes out.
Maybe I don't give this show enough credit. It's so horrible though I've never been able to stand more than 5 minutes before having to change the channel. The theme song alone drives me insane. One Jefferton Alive and I've got the channel changed

I can't believe AS or Bob Odenkirk got involved with this. I imagine that the creators are friends that got their show made as a favor. They certainly didn't base it on talent.

This is the most unfunny show that has ever aired on Adult Swim. It infuriates me when I watch it, Super Milk Chan is even better than this. I don't get why shows like this thrive while many of the old Williams Street shows, which were funnier than this were cancelled.

Someone end this show! I gave it a chance and watched it a few times. It has an occasional funny scene, but plots like Tom having rampant sex with dogs are terrible and need to be obliterated from the face of the Earth

I love Adult Swim, but I too, would rather just turn off the TV and GO TO SLEEP rather thaan watch this show. I won't even stay up to see what's on next when TGTTM is running. I've tried, and I just want to die when I try to watch that "show."

I don't get the hype about this show. The show is hard to watch with it's slow pace. It's just not funny. It feels like an inside joke that almost no one gets.
