For many good years I and millions have been entertained by the brilliant writing of The Simpsons. Seasons 1 through 8 go down as some of the best televsion ever made. Yet starting around the 8th season the show has had a steady downturn into a show that is unrecognizable to its former self. The Simpsons currently on television is not the same I used to faithfully watch every week. It's crude and has no intelligence. Going into its 16th season they have used up all the good ideas they had. It is basically trash that Fox continues to put out there because it gets some sort of rating. It is tarnishing the franchise and many kids growing up now think this is what the Simpsons is about. I can not stand for it any longer and hope everyone will join me in signing this petition and helping The Simpsons be put to its rightful death. For shame current Simpsons writers, for shame.
