It is the intent of this petition to implement stronger laws regarding punishment of convicted rapists and pedophiles. Castration of these individuals should be mandatory after a conviction is passed.

Options for castration would include surgical and chemical castration. Chemical castration is administered through injections, which reduces the amount of the male hormone testosterone in a pedophiles system. Surgical castration is the removal of the male testicles. However, both techniciques are reversible.

European studies have shown a reduction in repeat offenses in preferential pedophiles(a pedophile who has never had sexual relations with adults.

Castration should not be considered \\\'cruel and unusual\\\' punishment for pedophiles. The only thing \\\'cruel and unusual\\\' is allowing these people to continue raping women and to molest our children.
