We the Student Body and the Parents of the International School of Nido de Aguilas in Santiago, Chile propose to have a casual, informal school uniform through 12th grade. The Students Body is tired of seeing our peers navels and poor dressing on campus. We are tired of having to work so hard in choosing what to wear every morning rather than focusing on learning. We want a fun, hip, casual, informal uniform for our school. We feel that Nido should listen to our desire and understand that this is something that we, the student body, want! We think a good example of the kind of uniform that we want would be designed by the seniors each year and sold through PTA. Perhaps it would be a choice of 3 shirts. One long sleeve, one short sleeved, and one tank top. And then 2 pairs of jeans (one regular and one new one every year designed by the incoming seniors!) and one pair of cool shorts. Shoes to be discussed. And the student body would police themselves with the help of the admin. (you already do this anyway by sending us to the office if we are inappropriately dressed!)
