Cats are living, breathing creatures (like humans) who have feelings and can feel pain. So, why is it ok to cut the tips of cat's fingers off just to benefit the owners'furniture? It's NOT! I am writing this in hope that the Senate will pass a bill declaring the de-clawing of cats immoral, thereby making it against the law.

i think that cats should be able to be declawed because some cats are mean and there is a thing that if you get scratch to many times you can die from it.. Look it up..

My God, could you get any more retarded? Out of all the issues facing our country, THIS is what is important to you? Making sure cats aren't declawed? Did you ever stop to think that a cat scratching someone could lead to them being put to sleep, and not having claws is in their own interests as well? de-clawing is equal to cutting human fingertips off. it is COMPLETELY wrong and should be a crime... I can't just go cut off somebody's fingertips..so why is it okay to do the same thing to a tiny little kitten?
