I think this change is a real shame. They took a wonderful radio station that offered something important and special, and just ruined it. All my favourite programs just trashed as if they hadn\'t had faithful listeners for years! What a waste.

Please restore the old programming and the community of listeners it nurtured or close it down as it\'s not reasonable to waste all those tax dollars on something not appreciably different from comercial radio.
I support this petition, especially after listening to the \'between tracks patter\' on daytime Radio 2 (\"drivel was too kind a word,\" I said in an e-mail to CBC Radio a month or so ago).
I support this petition. When I moved away from Canada, the lack of CBC radio 2 was a major loss from my cultural life. I was overjoyed when I realized I could listen on the internet, then horribly dismayed when my favourite programs were axed. There is and was nothing like "Two New Hours" and I miss it tremendously. Way to go CBC: wonderful way to slowly etch away the things that make Canada stand out in the world.
I support this Petition. CBC2 no longer has any real value to me as a listener. I cannot bellieve they took away our warm, human programming and turned ithe station into Country/Folk Canada. Why not stream this crap on the internet instead of classical and jazz music we love?
As someone who considers CBC the Mothership ( I have been receiving its signals for a number of "listener" life times ) I'd like to comment that the new formula for Radio Two is just fine. The music selection takes me everywhere . . which is just where CBC ought to be.

I support this petition.For classical music listener there is only "fluff". Add quality by daily addition of concerts and discussion with classical music experts.
I support this petition. Just as children are exposed in school to studies that they would not otherwise persue, it is important that CBC make available to all Canadians the culture of fine music. Anything otherwise is a disgrace!
