I started watching days when i was in high school. That was bout 13 yrs ago. I watched it because it had a lot of great storylines and people to go along with those storylines which they all did an amazing job keeping people in tuned to watch the show.
If you pull the actors or actoresses that kepted this show going i think you will find your ratings will be going down instead of up. I would love to see Carrie, Austin, Shawn, belle, Mimi, Philip, jack, jennifer, chelsea, and the rest of the people on Days now stay on. Pls reconsider your position on letting people go
Carrie
I have been waiting on Christie Clark to return as Carrie every since she left back in 1999. It was sad to see her go back in '99, but even sadder to see her leave now in 2006. Under the last headwriter (James E. Reilly), Christie never had the chance to shine as Carrie. I REALLY looked foward to having her shine again under our new headwriter (Hogan). Please reconsider your decision to cut her from the cast.
she does such a great job and it was great to have her back, like someone else said you should listen to the fans WE are the ones that keep you EMPLOYED!!!
To get rid of the carrie and austin roles is in bad taste so much could be done for a storyline together, they could make Reed and company a big success to give victor good competition also Basic Black
christie clark is an amazing actress and carrie is one my all time favorite characters on the show. i was elated to see her back on screen and would hate for her to be gone again so quickly
I only started watching the show again when old characters started coming back. Letting so many actors go is a horrible idea. I'll probably stop watching.
Christie & Austin are definitely a refreshing couple on days....I would love to see them overcome the odds and have babies and live happily. I missed them both so much when they were gone!! Please keep them, they are a young, fresh couple that have so much more to offer us!
I am very disappointed in the people making these decisions! I have watching DOOL for 22 years and was thrilled when Carrie, Austin and Frankie were brought back! How could you get rid of them so soon?! So much could be done with these characters! Frankie could be matched with Billie & you could finally put Austin & Carrie together. You should really listen to what the fans want; we are the ones who support you.
I haven't watched Days for years until Christie came back. I am bummed that she has been let go. I don't know if I will continue to watch Days when she leaves. I think her character adds balance to the show.
I have watched days since high scool and love Carrie and Austin. Give the fans what they want. My daughter is in high school and also a Carrie and Austin fan. Two generations of fans and hopefully more to come. Why tease us with what we been hoping for and slap us in the face??
I stopped watching the last time they took off Carrie and Austin and came back when their was a rumor she was coming back. I feel it was the writers that failed this role not the actors. Lots of new story lines could be developed instead of all the same boring stuff. I personal feel anytime marlena wears white she is gona get in trouble. tired of it. If days wants to keep the younger generation watching give us young love couples. Austin and Carrie must stay. Get rid of Lexie
