Letting Christie and Austin go from Day's is another giant step in the WRONG direction. Keep the actors your viewers want to see each day for a change. With none of the characters we love to watch we won't watch!
I have watched days for 30 years (since I was 3) I love Christie Clark as Carrie Brady. She as character, love, and spunk to the girl/lady. Please keep her. Sami needs somebody to put her in her place.
I can't believe that you would even consider this as an option. I have been watching DOOL for 46 years and I like the chemistry between Austin and Carrie. They are victims of bad writing at this point but have potential!!!
I watched Christie in the 80's, and watched her grow on the screen. When she recently came back to the show I was THRILLED! Now, I hear this horrible news. PLEASE don't take her off the show again! She's one of the best acressess on Days and the show needs its original cast.
Christie Clark deserves to stay on Days, NBC will be making a mistake letting go both her and Austin Peck. Many viewers are going to stop watching Days over this. Is it worth it?
I was so excited when days brought Christie Clark back in her role as Carrie. There is such a good contrast in personalities between Carrie and Sami, and I feel it has been working well. Looking at the least of those who are leaving the show makes me wonder if there will be anyone interesting left to watch. Can't do much about those who are choosing to leave, but let's keep Carrie and Austin!
Please keep Carrie and Austin's characters on the show. When you are losing Shawn, Philip, Mimi, and now these two, you are losing the young generation of characters.
