Personally I just hate it when you let a actor go and replace her with a new one. I loose interest in the soap. I vote keep all the regulars don't keep switching. Thanks you so much for being back Patch and Kayla. Love this soap, I work and tape it every day to watch when I return home. Thanks again for giving me such enjoyment over the years. Please keep Christie on the show. Why are you cutting all the characters that the show has for years???? There MUST be a better way to cut costs than to cut the cast that has been with us for years.
Please reconsider both Carrie and Austin are an integral part of the show and I can think of quite a few other people who should be written off before them.
The only reason I started watching days again was because of them bringing back Christie Clark and Austin Peck. Guess I'm done watching for 10+ more years.
I have really enjoyed having some of the characters return this year in particular, Carrie, Austin, and Frankie. I get tired of the teenie bopper stories. It is nice to have a variety of age groups.

I feel maybe you should let go certain actors that are not favorites of long time fans like myself and also cannot act like the actress playing chelsie. i'm not trying to be negative but i am 37 year old woman who grew up watching dool since childhood. ther is no rooting value for chelsie and their is way more for established characters like carrie and austin. i am in your key demographic age group that support your show. thanx
I support this petition!!! Too many original cast members are being let go. Pretty soon DOOLs won't be the same. Might as well start another soap altogether. =(
Carrie is my favorite character. Don't take her off the show!! Why bring her back then take her right back off the show? For the first time in years the show is so exciting to watch!!
I've been watching Days for over 29 years. I have wanted to quit for a long time. However, when they brought Christie back and then Mary Beth & Stephen I decided to stay. Losing Christie would be another nail in the coffin.
i love christie and i have waited all these years to have her and Austin back in salem, but now u are taking them away from us the loyal fans! her and austin deserve a story together and we want to see it for at least a couple of years!
I was just with Austin last night in Burlington MA. It is such a disappointment to know that that the show is casting off excellent characters. She just came back. Please let her stay.
I ahve been a DOOL fan for 40 years and I am tied of having the good actress and actors like Carrie, Austin, Shawn and Mimi removed only to have them brought back years later and dropped again. DOOL needs to keep those stars that made the show the success it on carmera and get rid of the stars that are not doing anything for the ratings. Please keep Carrie and Austin on DOOL as it has been a joy to have them back.

I LOVE Christie Clark- and her character Carrie is one if the best ones on the show! I was so excited when I heard she was returning...I was actually glued to the set more for her return than I had been for most of the story lines going on at the time! Sometimes the "oldies" are the best ones to keep around!
