Taking Christie off of the show makes the show look bad. It makes the fans think that there is something suspicious going on and starts rumors. To remove someone from the show for budget reasons is sad. There must be another way to save money.
surely there can be love in salem. No one is happy, love is torn apart (bo and hope). Give us some love, some romance, some hot love scenes. Carrie and Austin should be happy together ON THE SHOW. We need to know that love is beautiful and exsits. Keept them on for the sake of normall life in Salem (somewhat)
I had waited for "Carrie" to come for a long time. Now, you're just going to take her away again. DOOL needs more romance and "Austin & Carrie" have always brought a lot of romance to the table.

It seems like you finally got all the right people back and now you are letting them all go. It is the old couples that people have grown with over the years that we want to see -- if you need to get rid of someone start with all the new characters (who are played by people can't act to save their life).
Christie Clark is a great actress. She and Austin Peck have great chemistry. I was so excited when Austin and Carrie were coming back. Other actors wouldn't do the characters justice.
I have enjoyed Christie being back and would be sad to see the face of the '90's go. She is loved by all of her fans and will be sadly missed, if she must go. Both Christie and Austin should be able to stay and play out the Austin/Carrie characters they are so good at.
You can't let Carrie go. Since she came back on the show, it has become more exciting and old fans have come back. You can't disappoing your loyal fans like this!!! Please reconsider.
Over the years I have watched Days, I have often wondered what happened to characters which were written off. It was so good to reconnect with Carrie again. Please don't make her return a fleeting thing, her character has so much potential.
We definitely need some new (old) faces. Carrie and Austin are so great together...we're just gearing up for their storyline...how can you dismiss them now? GET RID OF KATE!!!!!
I do not like the new changes that are taking place Carrie and Austin just returned to Days and I am very unhappy that the actors who played them since almost the beginning are being let go fired it is just wrong. Besides me who everyday tunes in just to see them on screen and there characters you are going to have alot of upset and angry viewers. There is so many people being let go it's just not right Carrie, Austin, Frankie, Patrick, etc..they are the reason we all tuneinto our soaps. I pray that this new head writer realizes by some miracle how important it is to keep Carrie and Austin and the actors who play them on this show. They really are the true meaning of soulmates as are my #1 couple Bo and Hope it would be so wrong to let them go off the show letting them leave happy together or not and a HUGE MISTAKE Sincerely Mindy

I cannot believe Days would let go two wonderful actors (Christie and Austin). They are the only reason I got excited to watch Days again. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the characters or the acting. It's the writing that stinks! Maybe it's the writers that need to be let go. Days needs to come up with better writing to do its' actors and characters justice.
I can think of at least a dozen other characters I would rather see gone (but I won't name them). Carrie and Austin are exciting, their story is dull! I absolutely love Austin! Please don't let him go!
Two fortunate accidents recently occurred in my life. I found out about the return of Christie Clark (aka) Carrie to Days of Our Lives, and the announcement of her imminent departure.
This announcement has prompted me to take action by signing this petition, and joining the forum where i found out Clark's departure.

I don't want to sound like a "Clark stalker" or a crazy soap fanatic but Clark's return to Days of Our Lives has resulted in me re-arranging my early afternoon schedule so i can watch my former favourite soap. Like many individuals, i've only recently got hooked on the soap again since the return of Christie Clark's Carrie.
I've been a longtime fan of hers and Austin. And though i'm a realist [Happy soap couples always fade into the background, either by having a reduced "on air" role or totally leaving.], i'm one of those hopeless dreamers wishing for Carrie and Austin's [occassional] happiness on Days.
Please do not take Chrisie Carrie)off the show again, if you want to get rid of someone get rid of one of the witches of Salem like nosey rosey Kate. Carrie just came back to us, I have been a DOL viewer since 1970 !
