I started watching Days again after many years because of the arrival of "Carrie" and "Austin". Your "old" fans need more than just the teeny boppers storylines.
I cannot believe Christie and Austin would be brought back just to take them off again. These actors are very talented. Stop taking off all the good actors.
I agree with everyone. We waited so long for Carrie to return to "Salem" and be with the man of her dreams, now that could finally happen, they are being let go. BIG MISTAKE MR.CORDAY especially with all the other great actors going you need to keep Carrie and Austin.
Please keep Carrie and Austin. They add a lot to the show. If you have to get rid of people, get rid of Chelsea, Bonnie, Will, and Kate (I bet Kate gets BIG BUCKS -- get rid of her!).
I was so excited when Carrie returned to the show. To take her off just wouldn't be right. Salem will be empty w/o her; like all the others that have been let go. Please keep her on.
carrie just recently came back. i love austin/carrie couple. there have been a lot of letting go actors/actresses...whats the point of me watching days when all of my favorites is being let go! junk
These two can actually ACT! I am not interested in the "teeny bopper, artificially aged" story line of Belle, Shawn, Philip and Mimi. Most of your audience is not comprised of college students.
WAKE UP. Put them back where they belong.. let them be Salem's happy supercouple! We need ONE couple that is bulletproof!
days is making a HUGE mistake getting rid of Carrie and Austin, not to mention all of the others they have given the boot to as well--like JACK and Frankie!! Jack and Jennifer were voted one of the best soap opera couples ever, in my mind so are Carrie and Austin. It is lame if they get rid of Carrie and Austin when they add so much to this show--like really who gives a damn about old Abe, or Bonnie freaking out????
One of the biggest strengths of Days is that they allow their characters to grow up right in front of the viewers' eyes (Christie Clark being one of them). Days is really taking a turn for the worse by letting a lot of the familar faces of yesterDays go. It is really a shame. Needless to say, I really hope that Days reconsiders all of the "budget cuts!"
Christie Clark is a great actress. She should be kept on the show with a better story line. Her & Austin should be caught up in some big mystery to bring them back together.

They need stop letting all the good ones go.if they keep letting the cast leave then they are gonna lose alot of the viewers.please keep carrie and austin.
PLEASE reconsider cutting Carrie and Austin from DoOL! Carrie/Austin/Sami/Lucas is my all-time favorite story line -- the return of Carrie and Austin prompted me to start recording the show again (since Soap Network moved it to the incredibly INCONVENIENT 11pm time slot).
The simple fact is that I fast-forward through the entire show except for scenes with Shawn/Belle/Mimi/Phillip and Carrie/Austin/Sami/Lucas. Please don't take away half my reason for watching!
