Carrie has links to almost everyone in Salem.Smart writers could keep her stories going for a long time. I would love to see her in the business arena, going on some adventure with Austin, squaring off against Sami and Lexie for what they did to her, interacting with other young Salemites. Why throw away a seasoned, loved and accepted veteran for so many new faces that have so little connection to others in Salem??
If this show can not get thier act together maybe they should go off the air because they do not care for the fans and what they want to see in the story lines.
Please reconsider your decision to let Christie Clark go. I feel that there is a lot that can be done to incorporate her into many storylines, and I would love to see some more Carrie and Austin. Just as Days' ratings are climbing, many of our most loved characters are bieng let go and I can't help but to say that it is disheartening.
As a long-time watcher of Days, I have seen Carrie grow up and I feel that she is and will continue to make a great compliment to the town of Salem!

Because we need our long-time stars to stay; we don't need a bunch of new people or a pared down cast. Unless you let "Bonnie" go - tired of her. And while I'm at it, can't believe you have let "Jack" go, too. Keep our favorites.
because Christie Clark is one of the best actresses on daytime TV. She and Austin Peck create an American classic couple and have that certain something appeal to a fan base that Days of Our Lives should target even more.
Christie Clark and Austin Peck are talented actors who bring a lot to the program. They are especially interesting and attractive characters to viewers my age, 28.
Why not keep Christie Clark and Austim Peck and get rid of some the other characters that are not nearly so interesting or lovable as those two. We could do without Kate and Chelsea and Patrick who only make trouble for everyone and don't have enough to do to keep them from medeling in other people's business.
I grew up on this character. She, along with the character of Austin got me into the show. I feel that there can be so much more done for them on this show. I do believe that I, as well as many others, have always wanted to see what would occur with the character if she were able to finally be with Austin. Besides this, she is my personal favourite female character on the show.
Carrie is one of the hearts of Salem. She and Austin has much potential as far as how far their characters can go. They show true chemistry and if you take them away we will not be able to see this couple thrive. So please keep them.
Why bring back Carrie and Austin only to be let go. They are one of the hearts of Days of our lives and would be great inspirations for people my age. I grew up watching them both and feel that there is potential in their characters. Since there is a new writer one would love to see the direction that Carrie can take. Please, please give us the chance to see that.
I was thrilled when Christie Clark returned... she was always my favorite. The fact that she is being let go already is overwhelmingly dissappointing! SAVE CHRISTIE!!!!
I've watched Days since 1968. I've watched 'Carrie' grow up & become a show favorite. Please keep Christie, who portrays an important & beloved member of Salem. Thank you!
I ONLY STARTED WATCHING DAYS AGAIN WHEN CARRIE CAME BACK I AM A BIG FAN SINCE I CAN REMEBER PLEASE DO NOT LET HER GO I WILL PROBALY STOP WATCHING IF SHE GOES.
I am very upset over the recent "budget cuts" there are other ways to handle this. Cutting talanted actors such as Christie Clark and Austin Peck is not one of them!! Days will not benefit from these actions. I support this petition 100%.
