i've been watching since christie started. i'm 30 yrs. old and love her character. i think it's stupid to bring someone back for only a year just to cut her due to budget cost. that was just a waste of her time and mine. i will no longer watch if she is let go. there are so many others you can let go that are not needed. ie. bonnie lockhart,billie reed, kate roberts, patrick, and austin. i would like to see carrie get with some one and have a happy storyline. the storylines are getting boring. everyone is repeating itself, and fans are tired of seeing this. after being on for 40 yrs. i think the show is at it's final end. it just doesn't keep me interested anymore, that's why christie should stay, and give her a good storyline. make her out to be a bad person, or give her a life. KEEP CHRISTIE CLARK ON DOOL. fan for 25 yrs.
I'm excited to hear that the new writer is going to bring back a sense of family to the show. I'd love to see Carrie stay and she, Belle, and Sami develop a close sisterly bond. Keep Carrie!
I quit watching Days back in 99 and started watching it again in 05 because they brought Carrie & Austin back but if they leave I probably will go back to watching the CBS soaps again.
Its sheer nastalgia having Christie and Austin back on Days and for them to be back together - where they belong. To see them together and HAPPY for a change is what the fans want and need.
I never understood why TPTB ever got rid of Carrie. Also never understood why they never allowed Carrie and Austin to be the great loves they could be. These two characters have been dragged through the mud and they have been cheated out of being a super couple and also being one of the couples that could be good with no skeletons in their closet.
I was overjoyed when I heard the news that Christie and Austin were returning. I started watching again because of them. I think your making a "huge" mistake!! I did not wait all these years for my favorite couple to leave so soon. They can be happy in Salem. It does not mean they have to leave. Give them good material independent from Sami and Lucas.If they leave I guess I will be leaving the show too.
I think Austin and Carrie bring a much needed storyline to the show, it was so nice to get them back again along with Patch and Kayla. The show was getting really bad for a while and I fast forwarded thru most of it. Finally you brought back characters the fans watched the show for and now you want to get rid of them. I fear that will cause a loss of viewers and would be a mistake. Please reconsider and keep them on the show.
I have been watching Day's since in the early 80's, but you've lost my support through the years. Christie and austin bring so much to the show. please keep them on!
I believe the Carrie/Austin story needs to be kept and let them be together and have a child. One calm, sweet storyline without major problems for a while would be nice. Give the viewers somethings they have been waiting and cheering for. Don't let them ride off into the sunset and leave us wondering what happened.
I have watched Days of our lives for 20 years and I'm only 32. I have grown up with Carrie and have watched her relationship blossom with Austin over the years, it is not fair to let them go! They have the potential to be a supercouple if given the storyline, save them.
I think it's terrible to bring such an important character back to the show, only to be axed within a few months! There is so much Days can do with the Austin/Carrie storyline!!
It was such a joy when Christie and Austin joined the show again - they would be such an asset as a solid couple... please change your minds and keep them! I've watched DOOL since about 1968 and I love this couple!
Please keep Carrie and Austin on Days of Our Lives. We love them. They are the main reason I watch the show, without them I am not that interested in Days!!!
