Although certifying her albums can get a little pricey, it would be worth it to raise her ranking in the list of "Top Selling Artists" where she currently resides at number 54 (source: http://www.riaa.com/goldandplatinumdata.php?table=tblTopArt).

The goal of this petition is mainly to get Jive to submit "Blackout" for certification, but it also is intended to (hopefully) get them to submit some of her other albums for an updated certification. ***If they are planning on doing this, and are waiting for a specific time, the fans would truly appreciate a statement regarding the matter (explaining why they are waiting.)

Again, the fans' reasoning behind all of this is for the purpose of moving Britney up to the artist ranking she really deserves, further securing her place as one of the most successful artists of all time.
