This petition was created in order to obtain signatures from the people of Newfoundland and Labrador in a plea to help end the miserable lives that dogs experience when chained to a doghouse or confined to a pen. This petition will be forwarded to government officials.

Please help free chained and penned dogs. No dog deserves to live like this. These dogs live lives of isolation, pacing in the same spot hour after hour, day after day, year after year.
These dogs are exposed to all types of weather, extreme heat and cold, parasites and they literally live in their own filth. A life like this can lead to depression, anxiety, boredom, barking and whining. Eventually these emotions will turn to aggression.
