For many years, Welsh Tv viewers have been plauged by S4C. S4C is a channel set-up by the government to provide a welsh speaking channel for all too watch. Now thats all good, if it didnt overlap all the brilliant shows on Channel 4. Big Brother, Desperate Housewives and many over shows are regularly delayed by days because S4C shows take priority. This petition is to move S4C from Channel 4, to a crappier channel Like channel 5 or Bid-Up.tv. This must succeed. If not shows like Big Brother will be prostponed in Wales for some cheap crappy Welsh Speaking Show which some people dont understand.

I agree that there should be seperate channels for s4c and channel 4. However, I see no need to slate the native welsh population, agree with A Jones, F**K OFF BACK TO ENGLAND YOU RACIST C*NTS

This petition needs more publicity. S4C is a disgrace for Wales. 90% of the programmes on it are terrible even if you knew Welsh!

I support this petition. Ch4 regularly screens excellent documentaries of interest to all, Welsh-speakers included. Instead, S4C takes up a primary terrestrial channel screening non-inclusive, substandard, insular and backward-facing tosh. Educational? A wider worldview might be! I WANT TO WATCH CH4 AGAIN!!!!

I support this petition. The vast majority of Welsh people, for whom English is their first language, are being punished by not having Channel 4. All the decent programmes are on at stupid times, if at all. Have a Cymraeg TV channel for those few people that want it, why should the rest of us be penalised?

I support this petition. S4C is truly awful, all that crap about welsh humour being great- The humour shown on s4c is like something from the 40s- seriously bad, farmers telling jokes about arses and bin men joking about people's rubbish- geez get off the screen!

Why should S4C go? They were there first! S4C launched on 1st September 1982, whereas Channel 4 launched on 2nd September!

I hate s4c. It is the bain of my life. Why should a minority get preferential treatment over the majority? If it was down to a vote s4c would be gotten rid of. The only reason it's there is for the welsh to keep some weird form of national pride. No one can actually say they'd rather watch: Powbyl y Cym - Wife Swap Nwyddion - Award winning Channel 4 news Rownd a Rownd - Hollyoaks Thats just three examples off the top of my head. s4c is a jingoistic scurge on an english tv channel. Not only that, but people outside wales in ares like Shrewsbury, Chester and Hereford have no choice! Surely it should be the other way round!

You can't move S4C from Channel 4 as technically Channel 4 is on S4C not the other way round! S4C is the channel which shows some of Channel 4's programming.

Yes. Actually, racist English people in Wales are f'n annoying as well. I think i'll start a petition to send them back to England as well. Welsh is the language of Wales. Don't let anyone else tell you otherwise.

A Jones who said the author of the petition (who is a Jones as well I see) isn't Welsh? Get your facts straight before telling someone to **** off anywhere - not every Welsh person has to like S4C you know.
