I hope the people who do sign this petition actually do their research. I personally believe that Charles Manson didn't commit any crime that warrents the death sentence he was originally given. There is no proof that he killed anybody and there is no REAL proof that he told those kids to kill Sharon Tate and all the others. Charles Watson's story about Manson is obviously his own effort to get himself out of jail for murdering 7 people. I am surprized that they never gave him the death sentence. What is this silly talk that he just ordered and not executed the deaths himself? Charles manson has been in prison 80 percent of his life. He is an old man now, he is fully able to live a normal life. Let this old man live with freedom, not die in a cage. He has been in jail for 38 years for his involvement in the tate- labianca crimes, let him live free! he has served his time.
