For years Bud Selig and Major League Baseball have kept one of baseball’s greatest players out of the Professional Baseball Hall of Fame. I am talking about the one and only Pete Rose, also known as Charlie Hustle. Rose was banned for life from Major League Baseball for gambling on baseball games when he was the manager for the Cincinnati Reds. This, of course, was and is very immoral and wrong no matter how you look at it. And to add icing on the cake he denied ever making the bets for a long time only to later change his stance of innocence and admitted to betting on games just not games that the Reds were playing in. Now there seems to be new evidence that he did in fact not only bet on the Reds’ games but also bet against them as well.

Now some would say that MLB and Bud Selig were and are just in keeping Charlie Hustle out of the Pro Baseball Hall of Fame, but when you really think about it the Hall of Fame is for me and you and the outstanding memories that make the wonderful game of baseball Americas greatest past time. To fully celebrate the great players, moments and records of Major League Baseball you have to include the all time hits leader and one of the toughest and hardest playing players to every put on a pair of spikes and grace a baseball diamond with his greatness.
