Why not two fathers or two mothers, some might say, as long as they have a place to live?

Leaving aside Christian beliefs, the most natural thing is having two models of opposite genders in life. That they are good enough to be parents is something I will not get into, but a child needs them both; he/she has the right to learn from both a man and a woman and not be secluded into knowing only part of this world, that is, only seeing one gender behave at home. There are some things a child would only tell to his/her father, or his/her mother, for example, so consequently both are needed.

When a man marries a woman it's, most of the times, because they love each other, and a child should know that. A divorced woman or man sometimes takes care of the sons and daughters he or she has had with their partner, but the child still needs the other figure. I am not saying those children won't be normal when they've grown up, but something is going to be amiss, and this world cannot go on if we hide part of the reality, which is that a man and a woman are required to properly raise a child -when they truly love each other and want what's best for their family.

Therefore, I think children should have the rights to be raised by two people, a mother and a father, who love them and complete them. A child is always the result of a man and a woman, not of two men or two women, or an only man or woman. Please let's give children the rights to have what is natural, as long as the parents promise that they are going to treat them as they deserve.
