Stop Chinchilla Cruelty!

“Grasping the chinchilla’s head and jaw, he arched the neck awkwardly backwards. The chinchilla squealed. The farmer then pulled sharply on the animal’s tail, breaking his neck. He tossed the jerking chinchilla to the floor, where the animal writhed in continuous spasms. We asked if he was ever bothered by the killings. “I don’t feel anything,” he replied, and moments later, added, “I could do this all day."

Disgusted yet? You should be, because this happens to thousands of these adorable, innocent animals in the name of fashion everyday. One voice has only a small chance of being heard, but thousands of voices can be deafening. Currently, there are no federal laws providing any protection for chinchillas and the millions of other animals who suffer and die on fur farms. Please sign below and tell Dr. W. Ron DeHaven that there needs to be humane regulations for the killings of these animals for their pelts put in place, or countless more animals will suffer.
