I support this petition. i am only seventeen years old but i have two adorable chins of my own. reading this article made me cry. not only is this inhumane, it is totally disgusting. how the people who do this for a living, or the people who wear the outcome of this incredibly cruel treatment sleep at night is beyond me.i think these people should be ashamed of themselves. nobody goes around wearing a dog fur coat do they? the reason for this? dogs are common pets. everybody loves dogs. imagine your pet dog having this done to him and think how it makes you feel. just because chinchillas aren't as popular as dogs, it doesn't mean they shouldnt have the same rights. this treatment is outrages. do you people know how many poor defensless chinchillas it takes to make one of those gorgeous coats you insist on buying because its "absolutely adorable?" no, i didn't think so. look it up. youll get a shock. have a heart and stop this now.
Every source of fur farming is disgusting, and those who support this terrible cruelty by wearing or owning fur-related clothing or products should in my opinion be strung up and killed themselves. Perhaps if enough HUMAN necks were broken it might eventually put a halt to such things. Horrid. >:(

I support this petition.i run a small animal rescue in the north of scotland and have two chinchillas as well as many rabbits and guineas - the description of how the chinchillas are left to die in agony is horrendous something must be done
