This is a smart show. Commander in Chief has been the only reason I watch ABC on Wednesday nights since Lost is off until next season. I love the show.
My husband and I both love this show and don't want to see it canceled. ABC should just stop moving it's night. There aren't many good shows and were not into these reality shows. Please don't cancel a really great show.
not only do i support the petition but with this show i was hope ing and it looked like it was doing it already because with geena davis portraying the female president poeple where treating the position like it was real by bill clition himself saing that we already have a femal president geena davis and that to me got people and the world exspecialy the media to thinking in a new way and i hoped with the succes of the show i gave me hope that we might acctuly have a women president someday in the near future!!!!!! but if it is gone then it proves one point that still remains today that women will never be seen as equls to men!!! so keep the show running so i and the other 11 million viewers can keep the dream alive!!!!!
One of the few programs on television with high production values that actually makes the viewer think! Content is exceptional in that it actually presents issues in a historical context and presents both sides of issues -- that's unusual for any kind of network show and not only should CIC be renewed but there should be more shows like it. Acting is very well done and the scripts are obviously well researched. Cancel a reality show instead.
My favorite show of the 2005-06 season. Not that it really matters becasue I watch for entertainment but I am a Republican. I was a big West Wings fan. I have joked that too bad "President Bartlett" did not have the "huevos" of "President Mac":)
This show gives minorities hope. It proves women are capable. Yes, its just a show, but it is a great show that should not be canceled. Geena won a award for her role for crying out loud.
This show is highly entertaining as well as socially responsible. My wife and I never missed an episode. We think that CIC should definitely be continued as a series.
We need this program. Stupid comedy is out. Give us something that makes us think. Geena Davis is great.We need more programs like this. I didn't watch it after you stopped because. I couldn't find it and you changed the time. Bring back CiC......
because i truely love this show. I am 16 and i have fallen in love with it. ABC just needs to appeal to a younger audiance with this show and it will be back at the top.
I cannot believe that ABC is cancelling this television series. It is one of the best shows ever. Part of the problem is that the viewers never knew the date and time of the show. It started out on Tuesdays, then went to Thursdays and finished up on Wednesdays.
I can't believe ABC is doing this. I'm trying to represent CinC's fans in Mexico, which is where I'm from. Please don't do this.

After watching last night's episode regarding the ERA, I'm so saddened to think this quality, refreshing show won't be coming back!!! PLEASE...reconsider!!!!

I love this show. It's one of only 3 shows that I watch on ABC. The writers are smart and the stories are well written and acted. We need more thinking on the part of the viewers and this fits the bill.
ABC should continue this show and remember the success and popularity at its start. The show should not suffer because of mismanagement. It is still an excellent program and deserves another season.
This is one of the best dramas on television. It's smart, relevent, inspiring and just damned good. What a travesty if you cancel this show. If you'd stop moving great shows all over the schedule people would be able to watch regularly. I had no idea what was happening when 20/20 or whichever news show started coming on in that spot. Give this thing a fighting chance. The characters couldn't be more perfect. Davis & Sutherland are tremendous foes. I love it! I'll be so unhappy to see this show go.
