Commander In Chief has the makings of a GREAT show, but all of the personnel changes seem to have gotten things a bit muddled. The actors on this show deserve another chance to bring this show around to how it was when it first aired.
This is the best show of the season. To find that ABC has the audacity to cancel it is appalling. It's time for the voice of the fans to be heard. Perhaps we need to boycott ABC. . .
::UPDATE:: Hey all. This is Kyle, the creator of the petition. Now, for some reason I can't add an update, so I'm just going to do it here.
So far we have over 695 signatures! The petition has done VERY well :)
Within the next few weeks, I'm going to try and print the petition, and send it to ABC. I also plan on giving the link, because I know more people will sign, and so forth.
Unfortunetely, I have to approve EVERY signature that comes in here, and it takes me a while to get to it. I wish it would just add it, and if it was bad I could delete it, but I can't. So yeah, sorry if it takes a while for your signature to get up. I usually get to it quickly though, like as soon as I get online.

I was very disapointed to have CIC go off the air and waited anxiously for it to come back on in April. Imagine my dismay to find that it had been canceled. There are very few shows today with the insight that this show has. I sincerely hope that you will reconsider and put it back on the air. Thank you, Betty Roeser
It is appalling how this show has been handled. The long breaks between shows, change of nights and now removed during May Sweeps have all created the ratings downward spiral. It is obvious that the network has other reasons to cancel this show than ratings.
I never watch TV, but this show made me interested again. It's the only thing i looked forward to weekly on television and it being cancelled is simply ridiculous. Please keep it on!
Is ABC Nuts!!!! This is the best show since west wing!!! They didn't even give this show a chance! Changing time slots, on and off the air!!! Why do these networks make us hunt down our favorite shows!! Are they idiots??? Whoever made this decision needs to get fired!!!!
Fire the ABC programer for his/her big mistake with this show. Dont punish the public for the programmers' mistake! CIC is a very good show! KEEP IT ON!!!!!!!!
THIS COMMANDER IN CHIEF IS IMPERATIVE FOR THE CITIZENS OF OUR COUNTRY. If it is advertisers choose age appropriate advertising. I don't know anyone that doesn't want this to continue. It is hard to know when it is going to be on hence the ratings. If it were given a time slot we could count on we could watch it... GIVE IT A TIME SLOT....
Compared to so many much of the idiot, mindless shows that are out there, rthe fact that a show as great as Commander in Chief would even be considered for cancellation proves how lacking in intellect the people of this country are. Please keep it going.
The network did a poor job of announcing the show was coming back. This show is one of the best on the air, and it would have done better if people knew it came back. Poor, poor, poor, marketing. Please keep this show!
This is one of the most intelligent and refreshing shows on these days. ABC is undeserving of such a good show and if it must go... then hopefully another channel will pick it up and give it the respect it deserves!
I love this show, it is a great thing to show a woman is such a powerful position. A great positive for little girls growing up now. Keep it on the air!
Please keep the show going. I cannot believe it was promoted for this week and then side swiped with a news program..I am mad. I believe in the show...at least show us the last few episodes!!!!
I am a 23 yr old male and this is the ONLY show I watch on network TV. Everything else is so poor and uninteresting. For good shows I am forced to look elsewhere, but I tune in each week for this show. Today it appears its off again, and I am really getting concerned it will never come back. dont worry ABC, I watch for sports, but you just lost me on Thursdays, like you lost me on Teusdays.
Commander in Chief was an excellent show and i am extremely upset that it was cancelled!!! The reason it did so poorly is because the stupid executives at the network put it on hiatus for weeks and then changed its air time! Bring it back or you're all idiots!!!

When you don't show it and make changes to day and time you don't give it much of a chance. I was so glad to see it back but disappointed the day and time. Invastion is something that is so stupid - how can that keep going and CIC go away? Who makes decisions there - men only. Gina Davis was great as well as Donald Sutherland. It was one show worth watching.

ABC keep the Geena Davis show!!What a great opportunity for ABC to recapture those viewers who stopped watching ABC after ABC cancelled the girl who spoke with god show (what if god was one of us,etc. song)
The adolescents I counsel believe the show is "cool" and like the idea of a woman president.
I strongly support this petition, as a matter of fact, please create several other intelligent shows with women as main protagonists. ABC will reap the rewards from grateful viewers.

Geena Davis portrays an excellent role model for young women across the world as President Mackenzie Allen. As a 17 year old young woman, I feel that the show has interesting plots and an unique perspective on the typical political drama. ABC, what are you doing? Keep the show, if just for another season. We MUST see Mac beat Templeton in the presidential race!
this is currently the best show on the air. Even though we are talking about a fictional character, she is still an inspiration to women. I can't understand why yu would cancel this show. The ratings have no where to go but up...especially if you reverted to the original day/time. With NBC's West Wing going out this season, what are the governmental junkies supposed to watch? The show has won all sorts of awards, and ABC's offical website rants about how great the show has been...give it another chance...please?
I support this petition. I was at the UN the other day at the Epic Awards dinner when Geena Davis and Ron Lurie received awards for this show. Just don't understand why you cancel the good shows and fill the air with garbage so that there is nothing at all to watch.
because the acting is superb, the message it sends to young girls is vital, and I want to see quality programming on network television. I watch more and more cable programs because network tv is so bad -- don't get rid of one of the best programs you have now, ABC.
You know, when I was really young (younger than my 18 years right now) I wanted to be president. This show isn't just for adults, it's for youths who want to make something of themselves. President Allen is an incredible role-model (albeit a made-up one). Any person, young or old, should see this show and realize that they don't always have to choose the path of least resistance. More people in the US need to know that , and this show will keep those thoughts alive.
Commander is a top notch show. I am shocked that it is cancelled. This is quality viewing for a mature audience who on the off night of American Idol can get some intellegent viewing in. :)
Keep this show on the air please! This is one of the only shows worth watching on ABC! If the network intends on people my age to watch their commercials then don't take off my FAVORITE SHOW!!!! Besides what are me and my closest 10 friends going to do when our Thursday night watching party is cancelled? KEEP IT ON THE AIR!!!
