It will be a shame for ABC to even consider cancelling a show with such a powerful and empowering image of a women as President. I will boycott ABC completely, should it cancel this show.
This show is great! ABC should consider keeping the time slot consistent because it is for this reason that CIC's excellence has not been able to be appreciated by more individuals.

I have enjoyed this series from day one, and look forward to seeing it every week. I am even learning more about the American Political system. Young girls need positive female role models who don't swear and walk around half naked 24/7.
As a SAG member and a father of two children, I feel it is imperative that strong, positive, lead female characters be portrayed on television and in film. Geena Davis is a tremendous role model and her work on "Commander in Chief" is inspiring to my family.
I have personally seen the effects that having a woman president on screen once a week has on the self esteem and achievements of countless young girls and boys. this is something that is far more important than ratings.
My husband and I really like this show. I do hope they keep it going. My husband is one that usually doesn't watch tv let alone a woman running the country, but he said this is the best show and we both agree that it should be kept on.
There are so few top notch shows on television. ABC's scheduling might be the cause of lower numbers rather than the show itself. Please give it another valid try!!! Thanks.
This is a really good show. It is very sad that ABC wants to cancel it. It has shown me personally that women can really achieve anything. Considering I was brought up in a single family home which my parent was a father and 2 bros to boot I was always told I can't do that because I AM A GIRL. It also shows us life leasons. It also is just a really good show that is enjoyable to watch and looked forward to watching. My opinion is, is that if ABC promoted as much as it does other shows such as Desperate House Wives and Lost and stopped switching the time slot around and kept the viewers more informed about what was going on it would of helped alot. When the show went on off the first time I had to search and dig to finsd answers to what happened to it and than when it came back in April had to do the same thing. No word that it would be back on. God forbid if watch a ABC show and not see a Advertisment for Desperate House Wives the world might end.
This show helped inspire young women to become involve in politics. Don't get rid of a show that can change the views and opinions of a male-dominated business: politics. Save Commander-In-Chief.
I support this petition even though ABC has cancelled CIC. They've even locked the message board so people can't vent.
I will not be a faithful viewer or any ABC show again.
Please keep one intelligent non cop/crime/sitcom/reality show on the broadcast airwaves. Cable/satellite shouldn't be the only place thinking adults can find entertainment!
Please keep CIC, it has motivated me to become a better person in general and to serve this country with all my being. It has dramatically influenced my goals and aspirations in life.
This show is new and the network execs are afraid of new ideas. Putting it on hiatus wasn't a good idea. Keep it constant and give it another chance. How easy you give up,run and hide when things look scary. Bring this show back. It's stimulating and very positive for the girls and educational.
One of the best new shows on Television. Once again, America's NEED for a quick "Fix" is dooming a promising TV series. I think the ABC folks should be ashamed of themselves... does it REALLY matter if you're #1 or does it matter that you have the best shows?
Commander in Chief is a great show and should not be cancelled. ABC does not give its new shows a chance. All they do is rerun their top shows over and over until people are tired of them. Keep Commander in Chief on the air!!!
