We as consumers who shop and buy in Circuit City will not allow Circuit City to fire your best trained, most knowledgeable and most senior employees so that the company can hire less skilled labor at a cheaper cost. If Circuit City does not announce immediately that they are withdrawing their planned lay-offs, the people most important to Circuit City, your customers will begin boycotting Circuit City and tell everyone we know to do the same.

You should be ashamed of yourself for forgetting that the only asset any company has is its employees.

Philip schoonover, you are a disgusting example of loyalty and humanity. God will get you. Hopefully, not before America does and the UNIONS. I have a boycoytt "Circuit City" sign in my window and have sent this petition to my teacher friends who are all members of unions all across the nation. They are very sensitive about this kind of thing and your kind of personality. I am sure you did not have one of us as a teacher. We would have taught you how loyalty goes well with economy. I hope Circuit City goes practically bankrupt, you loose your job, your reputation and end up working as a store clerk and get fired because YOU MAKE TOO MUCH.

Why don't you fire the short-sighted moron executives who cooked up this scheme to cheat hard working people. I'm tired of big shots screwing the little guy. You need to share the wealth before you have a revolution on your hands. I'll NEVER step foot in your store again, nor will my friends and neighbors, either.

This is just one more sad example of Big Business putting the shaft to hardworking, middle class, American taxpaying citizens. If Circuit City and their corporate bedfellows have their way, the invasion of the illegal workforce in America will drive wages even lower and the gap between the rich and the poor will grow even wider. I am a professional person who bought two Gateway Laptops from Circuit City last year along with all the wireless routers and other gadgets they have to offer. Typically, I spend around $2000 a year with C.C. I promise you that I will not darken the doors of C.C. again... unless/until they apologize to these displaced and humiliated workers and rescind this outrageous policy.
