This petition is an urgent appeal to all minority groups and people who support them. On December 4, 2006 the Supreme Court will hear arguments on whether or not integration and affirmative action policies should be outlawed forever. For us as minorities that means that schools could go back to being segregated and it would be legal. For women, it means that they may be denied jobs without affirmative action. As a nation, we have made too much progress toward a fairer, more equal America. We must fight to protect our rights.
