It's turned into an epic love story. With the way their love is portrayed you can't imagine why either Clark or Lana would be with anyone else.
In the movies Lois Lane looked perfectly happy with Richard White. For a new generation, I don't see why Clark should continue to pine for a woman who's engaged to marry a good man like Richard. Let Clark have his own love. His first love. His true love. Lana.

Clark and Lana inspire something positive in everyone. All of the posts on here speak of the LOVE between Clana. In contrast, the haters of Clana do nothing but whine about Clana. If their own ships, like Clois or Chlark are so much better than Clana, than why don't THEY band together like we do to promote their ships instead of hating on ours?
Clana inspires everyone to band together for something good and they motivate us to unite to support them. THAT, for me, is the reason why Clana stands out from all the rest and why I support Clana. Clark + Lana forever.

I don't really get into t.v. shows or movies that much, but with Smallville it is different. I don't really have that much interest in Superman, to tell you the truth, but Clark and Lana bring something special to the show.
