Music is a way to escape the harsh realities we face every present day. Music is part of human nature and a way we express ourselves. It brings us together and unifies us no matter what race, nationality, religion or gender.
Taking away the afterparties would most likely be the same as shooting yourself in the leg! This is culture, this is the real thing... Tourism you don't want could quickly become no tourism at all if this becomes a reality...
The governments that try to bring us down will only make us stronger cause they will never know and fully understand how it really feels to have a good time that can only be driven by great music and good people. We are a culture bound by our ancestors since the first days of human existence, no matter were in the world you are from. People, music, and dance, it is something so simple yet still so intriguing till this day the same beat carries on yet we have fools that try to bring us down, it is these people that will ultimately lead this world into it's own demise, there for I also feel that something needs to be done about this issue. If we don't stand for our rights' then we have nothing to live for because a true clubber lives to be happy and to carry on the same beat that has been passed on to us through the generations and nothing not even the powers that be can take that away from us. Good Luck and God Bless with this petition.
How can you deny people the right to celebrate life? I know drugs are a big problem, but for most it is a way of expressing their joy for living. Are the drugs causing violence as well? If so, alcohol is probably the problem.
Recognized or not, clubbing to some is a religion and a way of life. For some its a way to escape from reality, or a place to go for guidance. Is that not what religion is?
Down with the haters!!! People need to start accepting dance music... its not going anywhere. Reminds me of when Rock'N'Roll first came out- all the parents were going wild! Now look at it...
In Mixmag (or iDJ, not sure) this month there it says that there should be a political representative for clubbers, I'd go further than that. There should be an MP for Fun. Like a 'chancellor of good times', who's job it is to just keep the good times/ events/ parties going! A voice of the people as it were
