Jennifer Roth :
I have donated money and written letters for Amnesty International in the
past. I have always considered it a fine human-rights organization, and
would be grieved if it decided as a matter of policy to exclude some
members of the human family from the circle of those accorded human rights. |

Mallory Crawford :
I had urged Amnesty International to stand up for imprisoned gays, gays
imprisoned for being gay. Now I ask AI to not abandon the most vulnerable
of human beings. I wish you were prolife, but at the minimum do not
support abortion. |

It is truly tragic when Amnesty International fails to protect the most
vulnerable of humans - those within the womb. If AI goes a step further
and deliberately disenfranchises them by supporting abortion as a
'right', you will not only lose my support, but will also gain a
staunch opponent. |

Having participated in Amnesty International's religious Urgent Action
network for years, I do hope that AI maintains its neutrality in the
Abortion debate. I believe that if I believe in the sacredness of life
then violence is not an option in any situation. We need to find another
way and provide more options for people whether in international disputes
or personal crises. |
