Cool As Ice is a criminally underlooked motion picture that should see its way to a proper DVD release. While Vanilla Ice will never be as popular as he was in 1991, he does have a loyal fanbase who would love to see this movie available again. In addition to his fanbase, the film itself does have a cult following from those who appreciate it for its entertainment value. Those of us who love Vanilla Ice and/or his movie don't want to pay $50 for a bootleg on eBay (and we would imagine that you don't want people selling bootleg copies of it either). We want an official DVD release for this film, preferably in widescreen. In addition, any special features such as music videos, behind the scenes, and even commentary from the Iceman himself would be greatly appreciated. Universal, if you can put widescreen versions of movies like Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot or Cop And A Half on DVD, you can surely find some time and money to give Cool As Ice the DVD release it deserves. The fans have been waiting too long.
