Pathetic how a country can end a human being's life by capital punishment over some stupid drugs yet someone who took 200 lives can walk free after 2 years??? Where is the justice in that? More like corrupt crap!
This women was not a smuggler. marijuana is cheaper in your country than her native land of australia.
It seems it was for her personal use and your country needs to legalize drugs and you will find your crime rate drop dramatically. I will personally write my senator and my president george bush and let him know this poor womans circumstances.
Why is it that they will put someone to death for drugs, but let the murders from the Bali bombing to get virtually nothing, after all the pain they caused so many Australians and other nations!
Indonesia are very fast to put thier hand out for our aid but they are very quick to persocute our citizens. Stop the AID and Tourism and see how they come craling then.
This is a complete miscarriage of justice. It also clearly demonstrates contempt for the Australian People and the assistance and support contributed to Indonesia by our country.
She has been set up. Why smuggle drugs into Bali? Everyone knows it's cheaper over there. She has been set up as a decoy so something else can be smuggled through. You can buy anyone or anything in Bali. I'll never visit again.
Please provide Ms. Corby with a fair trial. Failure to do so will be detrimental to the relationship between all western cultures and the Indonesian economy.
Whilst I do not condone drug use/trafficking or the effects it has on the end users, justice in this instance has not prevailed so far.
How can one man guilty of killing masses of innocent people in such a violent manner within that same country receive such a minimal sentence when Ms Corby is not afforded the same level of justice?
Full and fair investigation with the support of the Australian Government should be given to this beautiful australian girl (this could happen to any of us!!)
I beleive this lady should be given a fair trial. She has done nothing and i think it is rediculous that she should get the death sentence for drugs when the bali bombers who killed thousands only have 30 months prison. Get some brains
Australia works with Indonesia to help, whatever Indonesia's problems are. This is a travesty of justice and whether she is innocent or guilty, this poor girl does not deserve to die.
It is a joke if she is not let off.
