Don't ever expect me or any of my friends to holiday in Bali as the risk of getting set-up like Miss Corby is too great. And why would we want to have anything to do with a country that kills for this small crime and frees guilty murderers, ala Bali bombers.
Thinking of you Scapelle, have travelled to bali a few times and will not be going back until this is sorted. It could happen to any one. Bali needs australian tourists more than ever, if they do this to one of our people they will lose our trust we will travel elsewhere!
Bali bombing mastermind Abu Bakar Bashir gets 30 months in prison, yet Schapelle Corby faces the death penalty for the alleged importation of a bag of sticky-icky. OK, a rather big bag of ganja, but that's not the point, the whole thing was botched right from the start when she was arrested, to the way customs supposedly handled that bag of green evidence.
Indonesia's justice system, processes and the sort of jails prisoners are being kept is unacceptable.
I had a surfing trip to Bali planned, which in protest, I have cancelled. I am hereby boycotting Bali, Indonesia, and refuse to purchase any product that says made in Indonesia.
Whether actually guilty or not, Schapelle Corby should be released immediately on account of the whole thing having been botched up by Indonesian Authorities, their legal processes need to be fixed so that local laws can be enforced, and the law enforcement and justice process becomes one we can trust.
Everybody needs to totally boycott Indonesia and Bali to send a strong message to its Government that its Civil & Human Rights record sucks, and we don't want to have their countries as part of our world if they don't treat people it detains with some dignity.
I feel the sentence should suit the crime... Death is totally babaric for this day and age!!!! Why cant we look after the innocent people and keep the criminals behind the bars. I dont agree with drugs of any kind but there are worse in the world and the punishment does not fit the crime in this case.. surely we care more than this Mr Priminister.. If it were your daughter you would move mountain and earth to stop the killing of your daughter and work towards a more gracious solution than this... how can anyone turn a blind eye... I would feel guilty.
What this stupidity is ??? To take life of a human for 4kg of ganja (and I don't care if she did it or not!)? The Australian government should take swift action to free her !!!
I think that what they doing is absoulutly wrong! Havent they ever heard of "innocent until proven guilty"? It's about time indo changed some of their laws and Ms. Corby should be released!

I love Indonesia and the Indonesian people but I for one will NEVER return if you carry this sentence out. You cant bring someone back after the death penalty if you discover later that they are innocent.

The more I think about this the more determined I am becoming to let as many people as I can see how backwards and outdated the Indonesian government has become.

Its time for your government to revisit its policies on marijuana. It is a seperate entity from that of other drugs like cocaine and heroin and should be treated as such. Even if she is guilty this is not an offense that should be punishable by death. Reconsider what you are doing here and if not for corby, think of the backlash of what doing something like this could do to your contries infrastructure and tourism! The world is moving towards legalizing marijuana. This might have been acceptable behavior fifty years ago but it is not anymore.
Please reconsider your position on the case of Ms. Corby. Even if she is ultimately proved guilty of the crime which she is accused of, Cannibis is not such a serious threat that it should cost someone their life.
Best rethink the Bali holiday! How ironic is it that we've been encouraged to revisit this country to help rebuild the economy after the effect of the Tsunami, (and donated thousands of $A), and the way the thanks is recipricated is with pure incompetance and neglect for justice of the innocent! Unbelieveable. Blind Freddy could see that this girl is neither guilty of trafficing Cannabis nor of being a complete imbecile. This has definately changed the way in which I perceive Bali, especially as a holiday destination!

I don't believe that the any country has the right to prosecute an individual from another country !They should be sent back to thier own country and be delt with under thier laws and beliefs !Indonesia needs to evolve !! Capital Punishment is inhumane ! Considering the recent support Australia has given to this Country the murdering of one of our citizens does not sit well with me !! All is not being disclosed in this case and the lack of enthusiasm to test the origins of the narcotics involved and the absence of Qantas airwys departure documentation reinforces the view that justice is not being seen to be done in this case. The federal government has a responsibility to ensure its citizens receive a fair and just trial regardless of the country they are in. This petition should be reinforced by a prectical decision by all Australian citizens to boycott the region until such time as we are provided with transparency in this matter
I know that Indonesia has a massive problem with narcotics so maybe in exchange for Schapelle Corbys freedom the australiam government could pledge money to help with education programmes or something. I know that we spend billions of dollars on less worthy causes. I know Schapelle and her sister Mercedes and they are both honest lovely girls.

Not only does the world need to completely isolate Indonesia and do everything in it's power to see to it that the Indonesians pay a high price for this but the Australian's need to make sure their government steps in and makes Indonesia release this girl. If I could retrieve the dollars I contributed to the Bush Clinton Tsunami relief fund I would. Indonesia is showing it's backward ways at this time.

I love Indonesia/Bali it's up there with being one of my favorite holiday destination. Even after the bombings etc I was not going to let that deter me from traveling there. This however has given major reservations, this could have happened to anyone – me, my family, my friends.

Importing cannabis to a country that produces so much the authorities can't stop it being exporte? I don't believe it. These charges are political and Schapelle Corby has been framed to suit the purposes of the Indonesian government.
Corby's case demonstrates that any Australian traveller that enters Indonesia is exposed to a corrupt and unjust system, which is only compounded by the Bashir situation. I will not travel to Indonesia in support of Mrs Corby as my personal VETO against this situation and I urge all other Australians to exercise a TOURISM VETO against Indonesia, until Mrs Corby has been released to Australia. DON’T GO! (Surfers - other parts of the world have surf as well – explore elsewhere).
4kg of grass to Bali?!? Sounds a little unfeasable to me. Good to see the heightened security @ OZ airports (for which we get taxed per ticket!!) is working to catch the stuff going out!!!
This is just apalling - but really how much can we expect? From one pathetically run government to one of the most corrupt in the world, who is going to get to the bottom of this? This could happen to ANYONE, Aussies would have to be stupid to travel to indonesia, it could just as likely happen to YOU. If drugs are going to be smuggled, it certainly isn't going to be IN to such a poor economy! Of course Corby will not get a fair trial in a country that shelters terrorists, frees murderers and threatens to punish an innocent australian citizen with capital punishment.
It could have happened to any one of us...we all know that. Schapelle, the citizens of Australia are united behind you, even if the damn Government isn't.
