The Australian government is showing once again its weakness in dealing with the Indonesian government. Makes one wonder why this government fears the Indonesian government?
Let Shapelle come home. She is innocent. She has surely suffered more than enough. I agree that Australia has pledged millions to Indonesia following the tragic Tsunamic. The Indonesian government should be more realistic and focusing their efforts on real drug smugglers.
All the evidence seems she was set up - why cant they see this ... Hmmm 3 years for masterminding 188 deaths (BALI BOMBER)and death penalty for 4kg of marijuana which was planted - WHERES THE JUSTICE
This is injustice at it's very worse. Where is the Australian Government when one of their own citizens needs their assistance ? Shame on you Mr. Howard et al.
How dare they do this to an innocent victim. did we not just pledge millions of dollars to help thousands of suffering people in this counry. how about they help just one of ours in return. our governments and politicians are discusting.
May the Lord our God Almighty set Schappela free from her persecutors. God is with you Schappela. He sets the captives free. The false witnesses will not go unpunished. Bring her home now!
Let her go! She did not do it.She was used by sick money hungry drug dealers.Hang in there schapelle! There is a lot of people who beleive you and who support and are behind you a 100%.
CJ.
let the poor girl out, as if she looks like a smuggler... get out and look at the real world, you just have to see them in the streets for god sake... leave the innocent alone & start getting the guilty... she does not deserve this at all...
Bashir got 3 years for association with terrorism, and now an unquestionably innocent Schapelle faces death by firing squad for some Marijuanna that isn't hers - where's the equity? No-one would be that stupid - free her and let her come home.
I can not believe the Australian Goverment is so willing to jump when the Indonesian people need help but when it is one of our own innocent young people they are willing to just let her rott in jail! Shame on both the Australian and Indonesian governments for allowing this to continue for so long!
Has anyone started petitioning for fingerprinting of the bag? The indonesian government are refusing to do so. This simple procedure will, without a doubt, clear Corby's name and nothing has been done
I am extremely upset at the thought that a potentially (and most likely)innocent girl could be subject to death by a firing squad. Do you really think she been given a fair trial...I think NOT!
The Australian Govt is willing to help the Indonesians with aid after the earth quakes and that's OK, but they can't be bothered to try an help one our own. Now we know who's more important, anyone but Australians!
I am disgusted by the Australian Governments lack of legal support for this poor girl, I watch her on TV in absolute anguish and it breaks my heart, she looks so terrified. Australia has given so much aid to Indonesia recently and they do this to one of us, shame on you Indonesia. I will never support your country again!!!
IT is everyones responsibility to be aware of these types of operations. I believe she is innocent and should be released immediately. THe Australian people are behind her plight....BRING HER HOME!
Indonesia has a right to its own laws and a right to protect its border from drug runners, however there should be better policies in place to protect against innocents being caught unawares. A simple policy of retaining CCTV footage would have proven beyond a doubt the point at which the drugs entered Shapelles bag. Its not hard and when human life is at stake, we have a responsibility to get it right. . .
Any one can see that she is innocent. She has been framed. Why would someone so talented put all this at risk. Please do the right thing and bring her back to Australia and home.Blind Charlie can see she is being framed

I cannot find the words to discribe the injustice that Ms Corby faces. Australia should not allow/ permit or stand by to watch the permature death of this innocent girl.Get the girl back home
There are far too many unanswered and unanswerable questions surrounding this case for any justice system to arrive at any verdict other than 'Not Guilty'
Free this poor girl, it breaks my heart when I see her on TV. She is clearly innocent and I don't know how the Australian Government can just stand by and watch while she is treated this way. Please... please save her and send her home where she belongs! I have had many friends visit Bali over the years and rave on how wonderful it is but I can tell you that they will NEVER visit your country again and I will certainly cross it off my list of places to visit. This could happen to anyone so please, lets do all we can to send Schapelle home. Thinking of you Schapelle, Australia knows you are innocent!!
Australians have supported Indonesia in tourist trade (and we got bombed!) and for the psunami victims we have given so much money. Where is your heart now that an Australian is in your hands! Please send her home where she belongs.
how do you know for sure that Miss Corby DID bring those drugs in, do you really think she would have stashed them in her boogieboard bag to be caught? think about it. drugs are an easy way to make money and smuggling it in through innoccent people's luggage.wake up and get real.
I have had lovely holidays in Bali but will not go again. Someone could put something in my luggage which is never locked. Why would she want to smuggle drugs into your country when, I am told they are readily available on the streets. This is not an open and shut case. You can not be sure she did it. It is more of a crime to send an innocent woman to death than what she has been accused of doing. Deport her and let Australia deal with her she has been punished enough.
I am totally disgusted with your judicial system. How hypocritical is Indonesian law. I have heard from people returning from holidays in your country that drugs are readily available on the streets, as well as drugs in the high villages for anyone to purchase or share. It is also well known from people returning back from holidays there that your police are so corrupt and take cash handouts for just about anything. It would not surprise me that someone in your country planted the drugs in Schapelle's bag. Corruption and Corrupt Money work very well together in your country. Human Life is worthless to you.
WE VALUE HUMAN LIFE IN AUSTRALIA AND I DEMAND YOU FIND SCHAPELLE INNOCENT OF ALL CHARGES.
FREE SCHAPELLE AND SEND HER BACK TO AUSTRALIA WHERE SHE BELONGS. SHE IS INNOCENT.
GOD BLESS YOU SCHAPELLE!
I will never go to this filthy hole of a place, how dare they be pudantic on this case, there is no way she is guilty of this, send her home now and Australia get your act together and stop giving these arseholes any more funds, put it into looking at your security around airports not pretending security is being done on the passengers, look at the airport staff. I freaks me out everytime I step on a plane when I look at some of the loaders on the tarmac.
This poor girl got into trouble before she even got on board her flight. Some serious investigation is needed into our baggage handling departments at Melb Airport.. Send her home NOW..
It is absolutely appalling what this poor woman is going through. Its obvious she DID NOT do this. Why would anyone take drugs BACK to somewhere where they are dirt cheap to get anyway? And why would anyone trying to traffic them make make no attempt to hide/disguise them? She is a victim of circumstance who just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. That simple. Our thoughts are with her.
To the Bali Government:
How can you justify this sentence that you have given when the Bali Bombers only received 2 1/2 years for KILLING hundreds of people....who has Schapella Corby killed??? Where is the common sense here??? I think that your treatment of Australians and attitude towards them is disgraceful when we are probably your main source of tourism income...well hopefully not for long.
This has to be a set up. Why would she risk taking drugs there when she could have bought them there much cheaper. What can be done to help her? It all seems in the lap of the Indonesian Legal system and the Australian Gov't doesnt seems to give a crap about whats happening. If she is sentenced it will be a disgrace.
