I think it is disgusting that the Australian Government doesnt do more for this beautiful girl who has done nothing wrong. Some assholes have planted this on this girl and she is the one sitting in jail. I say get her out and soon.
If you have ever been to Bali, drugs are on offer 24/7. Why doesn't the Indonesian Gov. concentrate on their own backyard and free an innocent Aust. who has been caught up and wrongly accused.
Obviously she deserves to be charged, sent to jail and a court case against her, she was found with illegal drugs. And we don't know all the evidence, just what the media choose to tell us (which is in favour of her) If she is found guilty or innocent, hopefully it is actually the correct decision. No boycotting should be done, this is correct procedure, even if it were in Australia
My heart breaks for this young woman.....how this can happen in this day and age is beyond me.My thoughts and prayers are with you.Be strong Schapella!
Put this in your pipe and smoke it indo... why the hell would someone smuggle ganga into a country where its cheaper to just buy it there. ludacris. get schapella home.
How can there be different laws for terrorist and apparent drug smugglers. Does not make any sense that a terrorist gets a jail sentence but an apparent drug smuggler gets the death penalty , Indonesia is very inconsistent with their laws!! Let her come home!
There is surely enough doubt to warrant a not guilty verdict due to airport security issues from an apparently rife system of domestic smuggling by airline employees in this country. Any punishment should be directed to the Australian Government not Schapelle. NO SANE PERSON WOULD TAKE A BOOGY BOARD BAG FULL OF WEED TO INDONESIA. Schapelle is clearly not insane. It could have happened to anyone and to that extent the Australian Government must account for the damage Schapelle has suffered and may suffer as a result of their negligence, and explain the issue properly to the Indonesian Government, and fix the problem. She must be freed.
I think the Indonesians are just going ahead with farce of a trial to save face, surely their president could intervene, especially after all 'we' are doing for them.
Good Luke Schapelle
have you guys actually read what your signing?:
"The following petition is signed by those whom are boycotting Indonesia for all travel, services and any companies whom are based in that country"
I think the leaders of our country need to realise that this could happen to them or their loved ones.If it did I'm sure that they would want their government to get them home. This girl needs to be brought home now Mr Howard. We as a country were happy to part with a billion dollars to help these people and another million for earthquake victims and we've lost 9 service men and women to help thes people. Now it's time to help one of our own. Everbody needs to email Mr Howard now and let him know.Hang in there Schapelle, we all love you.
Nobody in their right mind would believe that poeple smuggle drugs from Australia to Indonesia for profit. Corby is innocent. Indonesian should be ashamed of themselves for discriminated against Australian after all the help we have given to them.
Indonesia is no longer a holiday destination for anyone in my circle.
No One is stupid enough to smuggled Pot INTO indonesia, but you'll kill them for it anyway. Buta terrorist.. hell why didn't you just give him leg of ham and send him on his way?
taking 4 kilos of pot from australia (where it is expensive) to indonesia ( where it is dirt cheap) and having it just sitting there in your UNLOCKED boardbag... it just doesn't make sense to me.
I strongly believe that Ms Corby's situation is largely due to poor airport security in Australia. The Australian Government should be on trial here. If she were apprehended in Indonesia during her trip for possession, that would be another matter and she may be fully responsible. She was not, she should not face these charges alone. The Australian Government cannot allow any harm to come to Ms Corby. Bring her home and garauntee airport security checks and Australian citizens safety upon arrival in foreign countries.
I think the justice system is crap and this poor girl needs help and the only decent person willing to help her is crazy johns.Where is the Government, we send troops ans troops over seas to help devistated countries but we can not look in our own back yard and help out an innocent australian citizen.
John Howard should not be in the posiition of Priminister!!It makes me wonder how he can sleep at night !!!!
THERE IS NO MORALS !!!!!
It's amazing that the Indonesian government think smuggling drugs is worse than killing loads of innocent people in the Bali bombings. SCHAPELLE IS INNOCENT FREE HER
I totally believe she is a victim of the drug smugglers here in Australia, and am disgusted that no political intervention had not occured very early in her arrest.
interesting that they dont execute the bali bombers that killed hundreds of innocent ppl but they want to execute a poor girl who was very very unlucky. i for one will not step foot into a country like that EVER again.
With all that Australia & Indonesia have been through in recent months, surely a united front to free an innocent girl should be a priority now. Australian's have always strongly supported Indonesia - its about time that support was returned.
SO its ok for aust to send billions of $ of aid and they will happily take that but then want to execute an innocent australian. send her home and if she is guilty let the aust govt punish her (which she obviously isnt guilty)
I don't think anyone can dispute that all the evidence emerging in this case is pointing to baggage tampering resulting in an innocent young woman at risk of the death penalty. Much respect to the Australian baggage handler who has come forward in Schapella's defence, that took courage! Give Schapella a fair trial and the full support of the Australian Government and their agencies and she will be proven not guilty!!
