I truely feel for this poor girl from the bottom of my heart.I always seem to have to wipe away tears when i see her on t.v. Let Schapelle come home where she belongs.Innocence is what you see in her eyes
Please free Shapelle!!
Ever since watching the movie 'Bangkok Hilton' I've been terrified of this exact thing happening. It makes me scared to travel there just in case and now I definately will never set foot in Bali.
i think it's adisgusting outrage what has happened to this poor girl a face of our country represented in the wrong way. how would u feel if this was ur chil, there has to be something more the australian govenment can do. our hearts go ot to u
this poor girl is innocent and her treatment is so unjust. the entire law system in indonesia is disgraceful, a bomber gets less than 3 years and a victimless crime gets a death sentence.
A fair trial is a fundamental human right, as is a proportionate punishment if found guilty. Through the Indonesian legal process, she will get neither.
In a country where a bali bomber gets less than 2 and half years jail, a life or death sentence for shapelle is absolutely unjust. I pray for her life and her future sanity.
She will, we pray be found innocent. However, if justice is not done we should all call for complete recall of foreign aid for Indonesia.Going there as a tourist? Not ever ever again.

We help Indonesia through all their Tsunami's and the October 02 attack on the Sari nightclub in Bali, and this is how they repay Australia for our compassion and help? The next time they need help, they shouldn't be suprised when none comes from Australia - its a two way street Indonesia, we don't ask for much back except for you to be fair to Schapelle, and you can't even do that!!!
next time Indonesia need help, GO JUMP!!!!
indonesia should be very careful with the treatment of shapelle. they must remember who came to the country's aid when they needed it most. a FAIR trial is mandantory.
To say the least, i find it a disgrace that Schapelle Corby is even being trialled. IF there is a drug ring in domestic terminals the australian government should be put before a firing squad. Hang in there Schapelle, we all know your inocent
It's easy to see that the customs officer wants his name down in history with the biggest bust known. This means promotions, more money. What's an Aussie life worth? Where's the Gov. in all this? Be good be good...Johnny...
I believe in Schapelle's innocence. She has obviously been a victim of someone else's crime. Hasn't she suffered enough. Set her free and find the real criminals.
its an absoulute disgrace, we have been helping bali threw so much and now the wanna kill her if she is found guilty, and she's not, who in there rite mind would bring drtugs to bali when they know the penalty is death!!! if she is guilty then she should be brought back to Australia and sentenced here... I BELIEV SHE IS INOCENT AND I INDONESIA KNOWS WHAT A BIG MISTAKE THERE DOING N THEY SHOULD BE DISGUSTED IN THERE SELF AFTER WE HELP THEM SO MUCH!
Totally rediculous.
We assist the balinese people in their hour of need, and now they want to execute one of our own.WAKE UP BALI.
I thought you people relied on Australian tourism.
I,d suggest that the whole of Bali will suffer through this total injustice.
Indonesia - If you wont consider the lives of the helicopter crew given in your aid, think of the tourist dollars brought to your beautiful shores. If you let terrorists live; don't let this young woman be victimised!
Schapelle is clearly innocent. it is senseless to say she is guilty. perhaps if the drugs were being traffiked the other way, but quite obviously it was the baggage handlers and qantas' lack of security. i think qantas should get behind Schapelle as it is mostly their fault. FREE SCHAPELLE!!
One only has to look at this woman to see she is innocent. Set her free and let her return to her loved ones. Find the people/person responsible for her being in the hell she is in and make them pay. Free the innocent.
This case highlights shoddy airline and airport security. It is ridiculous that a human life should be put on the line because of poor procedure. As a fellow Gold Coaster, and now an ex-pat Aussie, I join in the cry to free the innocent Schapelle Corby!
Would the judges like to see themselves behind bars for five months due to circumstantial evidence knowing they are not guilty and possibly awaiting the death penalty. What if it was their son or daughter, would they still be in prison? Let Chapelle come home, you have made your point clear to the rest of the world. I for one would never go to a country with laws like Bali as I would be scared someone could stash something illegal in my luggage. Chapelle is a human being not another number.
This whole saga is a travesty of justice and she should be freed on the evidence alone. What the Indonesian legal system lacks in compassion is made up for in bias and prejudice toward western society. No wonder they harbour true criminals and persecute the rest. If they seriously want aid and comfort from the wealthy countries, stop making us an example to boost their flagging esteem and economy. Bite the hand that feeds you and you will feel the consequences. Use your collective intelligence and you will realise the mistake you have made. By the way...whoever created this petition and most of the well-meaning people who have signed in...learn to spell...PLEASE. Or at least use your spell check.
Altho it is a cheap holiday, It really is a shambles. You have ppl pestering you everywhere. In a country where money talks, and corruption can be bought. I will never travel there again. If Corby isnt freed I believe the government should have a good hard look at their lack of warning of such international law. The blood will be on their hands!!!
.Schapelle Corby is in Jail for 5 months and has not been formally charged with anything. One does not expect that you could potentially loose your life or be imprisoned for the remainder of it by going on an overseas holiday.
FREE Schapelle Corby
She seems innocent...don't condemn anyone over a bale of hay!! What do the Indonesians really care, except that they are stubborn and want to be in control...Free the girl...we pray for you.
i beleive that she is guilty but im not to certain if she should be killed because i beleive that that is the easy way out...she should spend her time in jail to really feel the pain that the ppl who she supply drugs do ...
Where is the justice for the Bali victims? They should shoot the judges that let the Bali Bombers walk, and while they're at it, put Downer next to them- he is a gutless preppy who doesn't have the balls to stand up for what's right...
why aren't our government raising their voice higher to Indonesia?.who would still want to travel to Indonesia? you're on your own once you're outside Asutralia, people. Let stay in Oz and be safe.
If we can't execute someone who has committed an offence of Terrorism on our countries, why on earth can they use the death penalty on someone for a drugs crime?
If we can't execute someone who has committed an offence of Terrorism on our countries, why on earth can they use the death penalty on someone for a drugs crime?
This is ludicrous. Most of the bali terrorsts got a slap on the wrist and she is guilty till proven innocent for unknowingly carrying drugs that are not hers? These indonesians must hate us and we are the suckers for flying to bali for a cheapo holiday? Boycott the damn place! We are feeding those who hate us lets wake up and make this known!
Let her go. This trial is starting to get downright ridiculous. Everyone in the country (and quite possible the rest of the world) feels this way too.
Good luck Schapelle, our thoughts are with you mate.
Any decent person can tell Schapelle is not guilty.Set the poor girl free.I wouldnt visit Indonesia if the trip was free.SET SCHAPELLE CORBY FREE.We are all with you Schapelle.
