it makes me sick to see the way the Indonesian Govt is treating an obviously innocent woman with such contempt. Bring Schapelle home, we all know she doesn't deserve to be in the horrifying position that she finds herself in. Save Schapelle!!!!
I think it's disgusting how the big wigs in Australia can sit back and watch this happen to one of our own. This could happen to anyone of us! There would be more noise made if Schappelle were one of the big wigs children! Our love and thoughs are with you..
If this is the way that Indonesia is treating an innocent Australian - to sentence an innocent girl to death by firing squad then they have lost the people of Australia. After all of the Australians that we lost in the Bali Bombings they want to take another one. Is this the thanks for all of the money we have spend in Bali? My prayers go out to Schapelle and her family. xo
why take drugs to a country that offers then to tourists No finger prints taken no video - losy why lost? because whoever was doing this wanted it lost. No records od drug use or handling.
Mr Howard, please do something to help this young girl. We may not know her true guilt or innocence at this stage however, we are fully aware of the unbalanced and unfair Indonesian law system she now faces. Please Mr Howard, help to bring this young Australian girl home where she belongs.
Free Schapelle!!
She is innocent- anyone in their right mind would believe that. Why would you import drugs to Bali?? it would cost more to purchase here than over there.
Best wishes Schapelle and good luck! our prayers are with you
the laws are twisted. how can a person who has not harmed anyone get the death penalty and the bali bombers not given the dealth penalty - an eye for an eye.
My heart goes out to Schapelle and her family. I can only hope and pray she will be found innocent and will soon be back with her family in Australia where she belongs.
Don't let this barbaric country end this girl's life. Fair go, what is happening to the Bali bombers, going out for coffee again with police chief as has been recently observed?
This whole thing is a disgrace & my concern for Schapelle & her family is that this could happen to any one of us. I think what if this was my daughter, how would I feel. My prayers & thoughts go out to them all. I pray that mercy will prevail in this case.
How dare these animals dictate to us when our troops went to there aid no questions asked when they needed help. And to make it worse they were recalled before they even arrived home and 9 of them lost there lives.
They want to take a life for some rediculous so called crime when millions of people rely on this soft drug for pain relief.
And if people would look at the history of hemp they would realize that this drug only became illegal when mr EdgarJHoover who married a cotton dealers daugter were going to loose millions of dollars in contracts to the government because cotton was inferior to hemp
They had to make the drug illegal because hemp was the material used for clothing parachutes etc,and that would make there profits to the fat cats dissipate.Got a problem talk to Sharon
Why doesn't little Johnnie grow some nuts and be a man about this. GET HER OUTTA THERE!!!!!! SHE MUST BE GIVEN THE BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT! SHE MUST BE FREED!!!!
This sux. Bali can’t let her be found innocent as this would damage their tourism severely. This case has already had a lot of publicity, and in the aftermath of the Bali bombing, they would have very little appeal as a tourist destination. Frankly I hate the place. Good luck Schapelle. Your country is behind you all the way.
A country like that needs to have a good hard look at itself, fancy getting the death penalty for some WEED!!!!! They need to take a good hard look at the Law Enforcement and see what they get upto.
My good friend was shot dead, no one was charged as they didnt have enough evidence. We know who it is and he walks the streets. Schapella does not deserve death or to spend her life in a prison over cannibis when murderer's are walking the streets. Bring her home.
The government just gave the Indonesians a billion dollars, if they had any guts they would use this a leverage, why would a girl take forty thousand dollars worth of drugs over there to make ten thousand. Gutless government.
i can not believe this is happening. i've been following Schapellas story and cry at least once a wk for her. who ever planted the drugs why don't they own up to it and get a max of what" 6mnths jail in australia .in sted of letting a beautiful innocent young woman have her life taken away from an indonesian firing squad!!!
Schapelle Corby may be innocent she may be guilty, i do not know. All I know is that if she returns to Australia, she will make at least $250,000 selling her story to the highest bidder. The Australian public will lap it up. She might even get on Big Brother. What a great media industry we have.
Too risky to travel to Indo, I'll never go there again!!
Schappella is a victim, the trial is a farce (no scientific evidence at all) and the death penalty is an outrage!!
a fair trial and compassionate trial is deserved time is needed for all the evidence to be collected and the Australian govt should step up and act on behalf of this aust citizen
Whatever happened to beyond reasonable doubt. Terrorists get a few years in prison, while a 'unconvicted' drug smuggler is up for life! Seems to me like it's about making an example of one person.
I would much rather see my tax money go to freeing Schapelle than paying Alexander Downer to sit there and do nothing about freeing her.
It is a disgracefull effort on behalf of the Australian Government.
I also deplore the actions of Ray Martin and A Current Affair. With their greed for lifting ratings they tried to destroy the testemony of the prisoner from the Victorian jail who went to Bali to give evidence in Miss Corby`s defense. He was trying to help Miss Corby while putting himself at risk. By giving the named alleged drug smuggler a lie detector test on television Ray Martins programme sent a strong message to the Judges in Bali that his evidence was un-trustworthy.
The Indonesian government should recognise the right for the Australian justice system to deal with Schapelle's case, and send her back to Australia. There is a long history of Indonesia and Australia recognising this right and this case is no different.
they want australians to go there why should you go and have to put up with this, and when they are trying to sell drugs to us in the streets no way will i go again any where in indonnesia not worth it and those to blame should be a shamed of them selves..
