How can someone be guilty until proven innocent, this girl is innocent and you should be setting her free and spending your time looking for the guilty one..Dont let her suffer another minute of her so precious life, i will never visit this country ever, the holiday would not be worth facing a possible death sentence.

The Australian Government has made the decision that capital punishment is inhuman for its citizens. It should defend its citizens rights to the same protection in foreighn countries or it would be hypocritical.

BRISBANE – The family of accused drug smuggler Schapelle Corby yesterday urged Australians to tie a yellow ribbon around their trees and letter boxes in support of her plight.
Corby’s Brisbane-based aunt Julie-Anne Caplice said she had already tied a yellow ribbon around her palm tree - urging others to do the same.
"People are starting to say to me what can we do? And if they want to tie a bright yellow ribbon around a tree that would be fantastic," she said.
"That sort of support is what keeps her (Corby) going, because I know she is getting very down."

This could easily have happened to anyone travelling to Indonesia, or for that matter to any traveller on any Australian domestic flight. The real perpetrators of this crime should be found and bought to justice. The innocence of Schapelle Corby must be recognised.

Unbeleivable!! This trial is a farce considering Amrozi bin Nurhasyim KILLED and was treated with a gentle hand. I have visited Indonesia and would love to return many more times. But i will not. We cannot visit your country if your laws may lead us to be killed. You could never prove her guilty, she may have been set up. So you are murders if you kill her. You deserve no friendship and no tourism.
She is obviously innocent, without prior convictions or history. She had knowledge of local laws in Indonesia from ex-pat family members. They have basically freed those who masterminded the Bali bombings and threaten our Aussie girl with a firing squad. I have visited Indonesia three times and love the people and the country. I shudder to think an unlocked piece of luggage could end me in such a disposition. It makes me question travelling to such a country, when innocence, or the pursuit of proving innocence is so seemingly disregarded.

It is a shame there are so many negative thoughts in relation to this case. I personally think she is innocent but also understand the people from Bali thinking this is just another person claiming she did not do it. If Schapelle is somehow found guilty, I would hope that the very least the Australian government would do is to petition the Indonesian government to have her extradited to Australia to serve her sentence.

Its an absolute disgrace that the death sentence can be given for marijuana. So guilty or innocent, and i believe the latter, the death senctence should not apply.
