Get this girl home now! If there is any doubt and there is of her innocence - GET HER HOME NOW! This could one day be a member of our family going through this. The government needs to act on the behalf of this girl and get her home now. Bali should be boycotted by all until she is back on Australian soil. Our government will not do anything as it is not financially profitable for them!
As a 63 year old anti-drug protester, I think your anti-drug laws are inhuman and worthlesss. Education about drugs is the key to eliminating them Free Schapelle Corby. The Koran, the Bible , and men and women of wisdom KNOW that this must be done. Sincerely, Barbara Dowling
Dear Schapelle, I for one know how it feels to be persecuted and helpless and at the mercy of circumstantial evidence and a justice system which works on bogus facts. I think of you and your plight most of the day every day. I never believed for one moment that you were party to this crime. My friends share this and pray daily for true justice for you. I feel your helplessness, fear and depression and sincerely hope it will resolve soon in victory for you. God loves you Schapelle and He is with you even though you are overwhelmed with fear. Many are praying diligently on your behalf to give you strength at this crucial and uncertain time...This isn't fair and if we could do anything more than this we would. With much love from outback south Australia, Margaret and ALL of her undoubting friends.
I feel she is innocent. How can that much be in her bag and allowed to leave Australia. We have the latest X Ray scanning for bagage. So if its drugs or bombs whats the difference she should have been caught in Australia not Indonesia for possesion
Terrorist attacks that kill people or...a drug that makes people live in peace and harmony. One gets two years in prison, the other gets the firing squad. Should we honestly have to guess which penalty is which? I know for sure that I wouldn't want to travel to a country that has such a backwards policy on criminal punishment.
Innocent or guilty, the fact that she is not in Au yet is yet another stain on our government's already existing reputation as an incompetent defender of its citizens. What are we paying the taxes for?
Darling Girl, I hope to God you make millions of dollars with your story about this because you deserve every cent! And you will get out because this is political and corruption at its worst. I hope everyone thinks twice about travelling to this country and they have the hide in Australia to charge $15 now at our airport to wrap our luggage in glad wrap!
Whether or miss corby is guilty or innocent (I believe she is innocent)No Australian should be forced to face the firing squad, especially when those animals responsible for the bali bombing got a couple of years for taking 183 lives. Good luck Schapelle, our prayers are with you
Please free schapella, she has been put through hell, allow her to return home, and if needed sentenced here.
CAPITAL PUNISHMENT for this crime is wrong and should be changed the laws.
Please release Schapella Corby from Bali and return her to her family and friends in Australia. She is an Australian citizen who is clearly innocent. Please free Schapella Corby.
Schpelle "trial" may be Indonesian's way of hurting all Australians just because we are who we are. We offer help $/aid and compassion to them all the time, where is their good faith back to us?
Good luck to you Schapelle. I feel totally helpless. I trust the truth will prevail and that you will be freed. You might feel all alone in your cell... but somehow you're not.
My father always says "As long as you are in someone's thoughts, you are not alone"...
Thinking or you.
This could have happened to anyone, but as it is, its Schapelle that has to go through the torture of this. Let this innocent girl free. My heart goes out to you Schapelle
They dont kill the bali bobmbers by stoning them to death, so why should Schapelle be possibly stoned to death for 'apparently' trying to smuggle drugs? There is no hard proof she did it, funny how the 'video footage' didnt happen to be working the day she was arrested!
Why would someone like her, with such a great future, be stupid enough to smuggle that much dope? In a body bag of all things? They really need to rethink the accusations and maybe bring in the bali bombers and give them a retrial- or are they let off with sentences 'because they are Balinese?'.
i think her trial should be held in Australia, she is an Australian citizen and i think the Australian Government would give her a fairer trial- or if they cant do that, she should at least be moved to an Australian prison and taken there, to Bali, when her hearings are occuring.
So much unfairness seems to be happening with her trial, and seriously, i think they should being in the baggage handlers who were working on that day and give them a lie detector test-they are meant to be 99% accurate- so if she is being accused of a crime she did not commit, and they put other crimminals on lie detector tests, then surely, with her life in the balance of an unfair trial, she should have the opportunity to prove her innocence that way and the real guilty drug smugglers can then be found!
She is innocent, and its time she is given a fair trial!!
This is an outrage. The girl is clearly innocent. I ask the Foreign affairs Minister, Alexander Downer to please excercise his authority here, as he has done in previsous situations with the Indonesian goverment, relating to Oil and Gas deals. In that case, the motivator was large revenues for Austrlia from the oil and gas fields of Timor. Mt Downer, dont just help the strong, help the weak and help your fellow Australians. Help Schapelle Corby! Please!
I would like to know why this is happening? It is obvious the girl is innocent. Is it easier for the Indonesian Government to kill her off than admit they've made a mistake? Take a look at the evidence and use your common sense. She was a victim and, by executing her, the Indonesian Government will turn the Australian public against them. There's no chance I'd get on a plane headed for Bali.
only today 8/4/05 at sydney airport a baggage handler was caught wearing articles of clothing from a bag that had been checked in for a flight out of sydney. it just goes to show how easy it is for peoples luggage to be tampered with.this girl should be freed imediatley.
Free this inocent girl, for the wrong doings of someone elses bodged attempt to smuggle drugs internally in Australia.
This is disgusting & inhumane.
Someone know's who they are, who has used Schapelle.
They should be in a Balinese Jail. How weak these sort of drug dealers are they do not care who suffers at their hands as long as they can make money.
Just maybe it was too risky for them to remove the drugs they had couriered by this innocent girl. Then let her take them to Bali without getting these or this perpertrator being caught in Austtralia.
My heart goes out to innocent Schapelle Corby!!! This must be stopped!!! The country of Bali will lose Australian's visting their country if this is to go ahead - their rules and regulations must be changed - the accused bali bomber was given 2 years for killing nearly 200 people -that is hidious - and poor schapelle is getting the death penalty for supposedly smuggling in drugs!!! something needs to be done!!!!
Free Schapelle!
This innocent Australian does NOT deserve to die by the firing squad.
It is disgusting and barbaric in this day and age that a 'death penalty by
firing squad' law exists, and that an Australian citizen should be subject
to it. This law is out-dated and inhumane, and considering that convicted
terrorist Abu Bakar Bashir has only been sentenced to two years and six
months jail (with the prospect of appeal) for his proven 'conspiracy'
participation in the Bali bombings that killed 183 people, in the same
country, it is inconsistent and absurd that another person should face the
death penalty for allegedly smuggling cannibis into the country. My thoughts are with you Schapelle..
The People really responsible for this should speak out. The Australian Govt. should step in before it is to late, put yourself in Shapelle's shoes and think how you must be feeling.
the accused bali bombers were not givin the death sentence an inocent girl has this threat hanging over her head.
I will not go to Bali again this is shocking obviously a scandle there is no reason other then selfish political interests
stopping our government from intervening .
Schapelle must be freed now
I am so very disappointed in the Australian government and the airline involved in not assisting Schapelle - she must feel deserted by her own country.
how can our government site bak and do nothing? she is innocent and it is obvious so hurry up and do something! always praying for you schapella - dont give up!!!
Free Schapelle! It's obvious she is innocent! I think all Australians should rethink Balis as a holiday destination. Let our money go elsewhere where human rights are upheld! Dear Schapelle, although I don't know you personally I've been praying for you every day that God will fill you with His peace and justice will win at the end of this harrowing time.
I think i speak for all Aussie youth when i say this is just a hideous and unnecessary thing to happen to a young and promising Australian. How our government can stand by and let this happen is beyond me! We are all gunning for you over here Schapelle. Stay strong!
We here in Australia DO NOT have the Death sentance so why should this be happening to one of our Australian citizens. I'm 23 and if this is what happens when we go over seas I wont be doing so for along time
God Bless Schapella and keep her strong. The penalty in this case should not be condoned, keeping in mind the Indonesians only slap the hand of their own who have committed terrible acts of terror and killed many Australians. Why wont the Indonesians allow tests to be done on the bag and its contents. Why doesn't the Australian Government do more? This is one family that will not be travelling to Bali again - which is unfortunate as the majority of the Balinese people are beautiful.
Come on Australia - help this poor girl gain her freedom, it could be your child next.

Let us support Schapelle Corby, the Australian Govt has done little to help. Australians should consider boycotting Indonesia in case we end up in the same boat - CAUGHT with someone else's drugs in a country which says you are GUILTY unless proven innocent.
I cannot say if she is innocent or not, that is for an honest and fair court to decide. Her present circumstance does not appear either honest or fair.
I can, however, say that from what I have read there is a very high probability she is innocent, and should be exhonerated.
Her life should be spared, regardless of guilt. Her freedom should be granted if there is any shred of truth to the evidence of her innocence.
Governments, such as Australia AND Canada should support their citizens and human rights - everywhere.
I believe Schapelle is innocent, but in this instance, guilt or innocence is not the biggest concern. Regardless, this is an issue of human rights, the death penalty for MJ and a wrist slap for multiple murders??? Not only should the death penalty not be an option but she should be set free and brought home. Her ordeal so far is past what we can imagine. Imagine that it was someone we love, in the same position, what would I be going through, what would you… Good Luck Schapelle, there are so many people back home supporting you your friends and your family and sending you all their love and positive thoughts.
It makes me sick to the core of my stomach to know that poor Schapelle is suffering this way when she is INNOCENT. My prayers go out to her and her family. Come on Australia let's help this poor girl in anyway we can. This could happen your child, daughter, sister or best friend. Let's help free Schapelle.
How can the Indonesian Government justify such a harsh penalty. What sort of message are you giving to your people and Australians with a mere slap on the wrist for Bakir Bashir and the death penalty to Schapella. You should be ashamed of yourselves! Hang in there Schapella, my thoughts are with you.
John Howard, I have always been a supporter of yours, and I thought you were staunch, I feel betrayed, and what the hell are we giving Indonesia any aid for, make them release her from prison, make them reimberse all our good will aid money and close all contact with Indonesia...
This is sickening to see. Send her home to Australia and continue the trial there! This could have been any of us. She has no drug record here in Australia and everyone who travels overseas knows how tight security is with sniffer dogs, and trying to smuggle that through is unrealistic!I am NEVER travelling to Indonesia again! Australians who go to bali are not drug smugglers, we help your country!!! Death my a shooting is EVIL!
I look at her and I just can't understand why now to make an example and why this person? I too call for a boycot and I will present a "Support Corby" logo on my site
This could have happened to any one of us - if I have ever locked my bags when travelling, it's been to stop people taking stuff out - I never thought of people putting anything in.
Government, stand up and fight for her rights. She is obviously being made an example by the indonesian government, how about targeting and confining the those that actually did commit the crime. Our thoughts are with you.
Saving her from the death penalty is only half of it. The Indonesians' pathetic case against her needs to be thrown out so Shapelle can be freed and return home knowing that there was no case against her. Guilty and a prisoner exchange to Australia is nowhere near good enough. Why won't the Indonesians fingerprint the bag? Pride? Saving face? They need to know that they look like complete idiots - they need to prove that they're not!
I would not like to think about the repercussions if Schapelle is harmed in any way. She is clearly innocent, you do not have to be a scientist to work this out. I do not understand our Governments handling of this situation. You just want to cry everytime you see her; will she ever fully recover from this?
