There are heaps of drugs already in Bali and really easy & cheap to get. Does anyone really believe that she would be that stupid to take drugs over there. It's not like she would have made heaps of money from. Really think about it, it is so obvious she is innocent!

Australian has lots so many lives in the Bali Bombing and now Shapella could have her life taken away, for a error in the system, I think it is discusting. It is beyond any rational thinking person's understanding, how a certain country can accept continual aid and assistance from a neighbouring country, give a token sentence to one of their Bali bomb killer master mind and are serious about giving an innocent visitor to that country the death penalty. I don't believe this petition should be a platform for people wanting to argue against Indonesian marijuana laws. I do believe Schapelle is innocent. Not because she is pretty but because of the evidence/facts involved in the case and if the same facts were in place with a tattooed skinhead I would feel the same way.
Should Australia not help a country ravaged by natural disasters just because we may not agree with the way their judicial system works? I think that would be pretty immature of us to behave that way.

I am signing this petition because I do not feel that it is right to receive such a harsh jail sentence or even death for having 4kg of marijuana. At the same time I don't think it is possible to say this girl is innocent because she looks "nice" and is a beauty therapy student. If she was a he, and had a shaved head and tatoos then I am sure that most of these supporters would be laughing and calling him stupid for trying to smuggle weed in a boogie board bag!

The news of Schapelle makes me feel ill. What is the Government doing to help this poor innocent girl. If they and the airport had of done their jobs properly from day 1 when the Indonesian Government notified the Australia Authorities of the arrest of Schapelle she would not be there !
Schapella Corby is clearly an innocent person used by drug-smugglers. She should be released immediately, and governments, both Indonesian and Australian should put their efforts into finding and charging the true perpetrators. Instead of holding Ms Corby.

I support the release of Schapella from Bali. The only reason I can identify that she will be charged is for the Balinese to make an example to the guilty drug trafficers.
It is so scary that something like this can happen to a human being, especially in this day and age. Innocent, which I believe is the case, or not, treatment like this is completely inexcusable. I now have no desire to travel to this country.
What I cannot understand is why it was not detected before it left Australia, were is the security for all passengers, it could have been a bomb.The Australian Federal Goverment is at fault for not having a better security system. I think this young woman was in the wrong place at the wrong time as this crime was to happen to anyone that day. Ms Corby needs to come home to her family not executed by firing squad. The marajuana was aparantly (by what local newspapers say) meant to be picked up in Sydney. I think all baggage handlers need to be blood tested for drugs in their system as well as all bags searched each day they are on duty. More security cameras need to be fitted. We all want to see her live so i hope this petition means something. Oh and wouldnt you think you would smell over 4kgs of marajuana if it was in a bag from Brisbane to Indonesia???

How ridiculous! If she had no control over her checked luggage, then reasonable doubt concludes she may not be the one who committed the crime. A conviction and execution, by firing squad no less, would be a grave injustice.
