I have been to Indonesia many times. I have been acosted by Indonesian police asking if wanted to by marijuana and various other illegal drugs many times. I have of course refused, only to have there identities reveiled. This has not only happened in Bali, but also Jave Sumatra & other islands.If i HAd bought this stuff, i would have had to buy my freedom. These guys have limited ways to substitute a very low income, so i can apreciate why they do it. However, it shows the level of corruption within the Indonesian police force and i have no doubt that Schapelle is innocent. She is perhaps only guilty of being caught up in some dodgy Indo dealings which have gone arye and she was the scape goat needed to help one of these bastards not face the uncertain future, which is now before this pour girl. In this day and age with consideration that all that has happened particularly in Bali I am disgusted that we still support this country and send our forces to help them. To date the Bali bombers that murdered so many Australians did not at any time face the hardships that this poor young lady has been put through. I will never travel to Indonesia or Bali, I have stopped purchasing any goods produced and exported to Australia by Indonesia and refuse to donate any more money or goods for fund raising should this farce of a trial continue. Why has there been no inquiry by government or police into the drug operations in Australian airports. Some activity along these lines might produce evidence that could save Schapelle and yet all has been silent. Another coverup!
The penalty is extreme, and the Australian Government and Customs (Border Security) should have done more to prevent the drugs from leaving Australia in the first place.
She should be taken back to Australia and tried under Australian law.

She is clearly innocent. The most incomprehensible aspects of this case are twofold. One. Why does the Indonesian court accept evidence from the prosecutors when the Indonesians customs officials failed to follow correct protocol by handling the bag. The evidence should be inadmissable. Two - and this is something everyone in Australia should be most concerned about - The bag was weighed, BUT the records were deleted JUST BEFORE the request was made to retrieve them. Who deleted them? QANTAS and all Australian airports have a lot to answer for. It is imperative that we Australians demand answers from QANTAS and the airports involved. NOW.
Ms Corby is innocent set up by an established and known drug ring operating out between Brisbane and Sydney. Why would you risk bring that amount of dope into a country where you can score on every street corner.Schapelle's nightmare needs to end now.

The money spent on the continuation of custody followed by an execution could be spent on drugs awareness education for indonesian kids.
